Train Sim World 3 Wcml( London Euston- Stafford Via The Trent Valley And Birmingham Lines)

i will be suggesting WCML From London Euston - Stafford station Via the trrent valley lines and Birmingham new street so 1st off, i know everyone loves and wants to see this route so why not and how the route would be made is that dtg implement this whole wcml route that is circled, and the line u can see on the map is green :
The stations that i circled in are going to be the places where the wcml branch off to, which is 2 , Players will have the option in timetable mode to choose via Bns or The trent valley line, and make thier way to stafford, starting from london euston and should take about an hour or maybe a n hour and a half
so with that out of the way, Onto the trains and layers

Trains to be Made:
Class 390/1
Class 350/1
Class 730/1 (As a dlc when it officially runs on the wcml)

Layers:
Class 323 at bns
Class 377 (Willesden- Watford& Milton Keynes)
LU Bakerloo Line 1972 Stock
Scenarios:
tilting on the valleys
a 390 has been handed over to you from Watford Junction and you have been permitted to go just over 200mph by the signaller due to a late departure at harrow and Wealdstone, you will operate this train to stafford, Going Via the trent valley line

West midlands troubles,

after a pantograph strike at Rugeley Trent valley, Take a 390 from London euston all the way to Stafford via Birmingham new street, but there are severe delays at Birmingham new street, due to a 323 having a pantograph failure

rn icba to make more ideas, but yeah, hope this gets put into tsw (as most people of the community want it)

 

Not everybody wants or loves this route. I certainly don't want or love this route, though a backdated version would wet my appetite. In all honesty this is quite a confusing suggestion which I don't really follow so I have a few questions. How many miles of track would be needed? Where is the southern end point of the suggestion as I can't see Euston on the map?
And lastly what does this mean:

 

The way to do this would have been Birmingham Cross City Line merging with rugby Birmingham Stafford line and Trent Valley lines since Litchfield Trent Valley and Birmingham New Street existing on BCC. Your route seems to sold the issue of Birmingham Cross City having filled Birmingham New Street with trains including the class 92

 

We should have a WCML south dlc as it’s own thing and a Trent valley DLC as it’s own thing

 

No thanks there are PLENTY other places outside of london all of which are your suggestions. Lets focus elsewhere for once in the sim.

Its an open forum anyone can leave an opinion on a suggestion dont like it then dont post them.

 

Anyone can suggest what they want to see, but it needs to be tempered with realism, in terms of length (don’t expect more than 50 or 60 miles), supplied trains (we only get one new consist these days) plus access for research and licensing. The simple fact is, WCML South would end up with Euston to Milton Keynes if you were lucky, or perhaps Trent Valley Rugby to Stafford. But don’t expect or realistically expect something on the scale of Euston to Stafford or Crewe.

 

Ok, but you said everybody loves this route, which is not true and could be seen by newer members of the forum as misleading. Anyway after finding out the mileage myself I must agree that this is probably too much to realistically be seen in game anytime soon.

 

Euston -Stafford is 133 miles 39 stations

Certainly I feel like a WCML route is due, not just for its own sake - any part of it is an interesting route - but by adding a couple of trains, we could finally bring Birmingham New Street, Glasgow Central, the surface part of the Bakerloo line, and soon Manchester Piccadilly to life with some AI trains.

 

As much as I'd prefer to see part of the WCML in the loco-hauled era, a modern-based route is probably the pragmatic choice for the reasons above.

I would like to see a WCML route, prefererably in the days of the AC electrics, BR or post privitisation. I would be happy to see a modern version though. I would take WCML over the ECML, although would love to see either.

If it is going to be built though I would want it to go futher than Milton Keynes if starting at Euston, which is probably an unrealistic expectation for the next few years.

No that’s not what your saying though. You were suggesting 133 miles and when you were given feedback you essentially said if people don’t agree with you don’t say anything!!!

Yes agreed, what would be even better is if it’s done in its current (Transitional Era) with the 730s and 805/807s entering as some form of DLC

 

Honestly as cool is it would be to have a transition era London Euston - Birmingham New Street in tsw3, you would probably need a nasa super computer to cope with the performance impact of having so many different types of train on one route, especially at the London end of the line.

 

I feel like DTG can pull it off, imo WCMLs when it comes to the timetable is just a longer BML, the most intrusive services would be the Overground which in itself would be over 200 services as well as the LU layers which would take up space, Avanti and LNWR and southern might take up about 800-1000 services and freight another 300, the main issue would be around Willesden Depot which would have loads of trains, but then again they added BML which is also busy, but I would like to see what DTG would do, because the WCML timetable movements are very packed usually

 

I'm pretty sure that dtg have in the past said that it isn't the business of a route that's the problem but that the number of different train types being loaded into memory at the the same time is the problem, to get around that it would likely be better to set Wcml in just one era.

Exactly this he does this on discord servers as well has an opinion anyone disagrees with him he attacks them. It’s resulted in him being banned in countless servers.

you are only allowed an opinion if it A agrees with him or B is something he wants to hear. Anything else it’s not allowed. Why he can’t just be nice to others who have a different opinion is beyond me.
