I'd love to see the Airedale/Wharfedale line in Train Sim World 3 someday. It's one of the routes I sometimes travel and it's a nice route to ride around on. As I said, this is one of my favourite routes and would love to see this on Train Sim at some point!
With the upcoming introduction of Northern and the Glossip Line!... Airedale and Wharfedale line would be perfect for TSW 3. The Northern class 331 and 333 would be fun units to drive. I would really love to see this route in Train Sim World 3!
One of my local routes! I would love this in TSW3. I've suggested this previously and is something I would definitely buy, well worth the £30 if it's made. Many service variations too.
It isn't exactly my local operator however it's my old, it would be a very interesting route to see in tsw so yeah. I think it would be a great idea
You could also add the Class 158 for the Morecambe/Carlisle services that run semi-fast to Skipton for more service variety, especially now we have the Class 158 with the same engine type in-game from MML. The 3-car variant could even be featured. A sizeable (but not excessive) network of lines with a frequent service pattern and some nice scenery. Good suggestion.
Oh yes, there's them as well that go through Skipton to get to Morecambe and Carlisle. They stop at Shipley, Bingley, Keighley and Skipton only I think. But here's some photos of them... Would love to see the 158's featured as well. There's also an LNER service that goes through to Skipton once a day as well I think that only stops from Leeds to Keighley and Skipton...
In regards to LNER, if my memory serves me right, (that's my excuse) there are two services a day departing Bradford in the morning and one from Skipton. In the evening I believe it is then two bound for Bradford and again one for Skipton. There would also be AI around Leeds too throughout the day.
Ah, okay. Thanks for the information on that as I wasn't sure which LNER trains go through there in a day. There are also trains such as Class 170's that go down Leeds West junction to turn onto the Harrogate Loop further down.
No sweat mate, there are also a few ECS movements on the line by LNER as well which I forgot to mention before as well.
Usually the Skipton services are done by an IC225. And Bradford services are done by 801/800s. But it has been the opposite in some days and even 800/801s for both
Yes there was a period where the 91s were being right mares (to put it nicely) which lead to them being covered by an 80x, though recently they have been behaving much better.
I was searching around, and I cannot find anything of the Airedale route at all in either Train Sim or Train Sim World, so it hasn't been made yet by the looks of it.
I have suggested this too its a wonderful route that is a closed system with lots of different services so really a better Glossop Line
