With the 700 coming out in a few weeks, I would like to Suggest the short Thameslink Core From London Bridge to Finsbury Park, i would like this to come into Tsw because its very Scenic , it also has Stations that has a cool atmosphere such as : London Bridge London Blackfriars City Thameslink Farringdon ( One of the best In My Opinion) London st Pancras International Thameslink London Kings cross: and last but not least: Finsbury Pk: Trains: Class 700 Scenarios: Core linking Take a class 700 from London bridge to Finsbury pk Linking back and forth Take a 700 from London kings cross to Finsbury park, where you will change ends and head down to London bridge Crusing in the thames Take a 700 from London bridge to Finsbury Park, where you will change ends and take it back to London Kings cross this time Layers: Class 387 Class 377 Class 375 Class 465 I hope this gets added as a dlc into TSW
we don't need another route in London for a long while. Let's focus on places like the east (yes that exists shocker) and the north which have little to no routes and need much more love.
the north? The north has plenty of nice routes. The north has wonderful natural beauty. And has many nice routes for tsw such as (the ones I'll be listing aren't all of the good ones ofc, there's more) York and Selby lines Calder valley line Wherry lines ECML Settle and carlisle railway WCML over shap plus many many other nice routes
15 - 20 minutes maybe but as I've already said it's ato for most of the route (St Pancras - Blackfriers)
Lil jj took the words out my mouth: lets see a route in the old eastern region represented in game before another route which is just in London. I mean Kings Cross to Peterborough is a dull section of track but would be better than another route which doesn't leave London or the southeast.
How about Great Eastern Main Line London to Ipswich including the Harwich Parkeston Quay Branch to play Hook Continental services.
yh, but it wouldn't hurt to have another part of those mainlines somewhere else. Like the most scenic parts of the ecml and wcml are up north, and I think the CML should be backdated if it was to come. Edit: is CML chatham mainline or chiltern mainline (I originally thought it was chatham mainline)
but it is not London Bridge - Finsbury Park is NOT a mainline. It is a commuter line. and VERY short.
Now this would be good even though i think it is required we have a non london route and explore elsewhere such as wales or north england etc etc.
Ok, then and speaking of Thameslink core remember it's ETCS overlaid on CBTC which means you must play it like HMA KWG SKA LZB ICE3 GoA 2 runs. For Wales, DTG needs to know that TSC South wales coastal is also popular to be remade in TSW 3 so is the North Wales Line
I mean it's in the old eastern region so yes, though I wouldn't want it with anything newer than a 90 and 360.
Maybe an extension to East Croydon with Overground DLC but overall the route is too short to only go to Finsbury Park without other lines added
This thread really highlights why suggestions need to be vetted by the moderator team before publication…
Applies to both. If you were to say "the CML from Birmingham to London" or something then it would be fine. Likewise, the "CML from Rochester to London" would also be correct. Although, if listing every _ML route in the UK, you'd probably go ".., Chatham ML, Chiltern ML, ..." just to be clear. I was going to post my opinion on this thread but I'll use other posts to say it for me: Thanks.
I agree, a route out of London but leaves London quite quickly would be brilliant like Chiltern Mainline or East Coast Mainline or West Coast Mainline
Is not in the east but would be nice to have. I think it would just be nice to cover all of the old BR regions. It amazes me that we haven't seen a route in the old eastern region as some of the routes here are more than iconic enough to be in game: ECML, GEML, Wherry Lines, etc.
Chiltern mainline could go up to Banbury or Leamington Spa at a stretch? It’s a good route for diesel locos plus a chance to layover the 165 onto GWE
We already have a bunch of routes into London. If we were going to add another, I'd say it should be added no earlier than mid-2024. As much as I'd like to see the SWML, we have too many of these routes running into London. This route is too short and ATO would be on most of the time. One route I would personally like to see is some Greater Anglia route. The only problem though is getting the license to GA, I'm not sure if they have it. If you do want to see Thameslink and a route that runs to London, add the bit from Kings Cross to either Peterborough or Cambridge.
Second thing I'd like to say (yes I didn't edit my first message) is that I'd like to see the Tees Valley Line but modern day. A second route I'd like to see that people would probably not really like is a GA route. Yes, I'm going back to this again. And not some route out of London, even though I suggested a route to Southend. If we are going to do a GA route, I would like a route out of Norwich. The best to do in my opinion would be Norwich-Sheringham & Great Yarmouth. And for those of you who want to visit stations in the middle of nowhere, you're in luck! If Dovetail were to make this route and acquire the GA license, you could go to Berney Arms station. I'd say this route should be modern day. I'll make a separate forum about that.
I agree about more routes in the east but a modern Tees Valley wouldn't be very interesting at all really.
Probably too many routes in London atm maybe we need some more routes in other areas for the time being. Kings x would just probably be the usual big empty station with missing Services ie missing LNER services which are not in the game. Tho When it finally does come out it would be nice to have some more routes eventually for the class 700
Yeah well how about we keep suggestions to things that are currently possible. For the sake of making them worthwhile?
But how will people cope without suggesting the whole of the ECML and not just a more manageable section!!!
