Hello everyone, I would like to adress my suggestion.
Although the current form of the SEHS is great and really enjoyable, I think that for the amount of trains and services availible, the tracks are too short. Don't get me wrong, the section between St Pancras and Ashford is amazing, but I would expand the Chatham Main Line, where we can drive the commuter services.
I'm going to present my ideas in the order I would like them to be realised.
(I may write some things that have already been adressed in this forum, for what I apologize.)
    1. London Victoria - Rochester
As we all know, we have a beautiful and busy Victoria station availible in the game. We can also see Southeastern AI services, which is good. However, since we've got the classes 465 and 375 who run all the way from Victoria to Ramsgate/Margate/Dover, it's really a shame that we can only operate them on the Rochester (Dartford) - Faversham section. I think that adding at least the Victoria - Rochester section (both via Denmark Hill and Beckenham Junction) would be absolutely wonderful and would make the driving and operating the trains experience way better, than we can see today.
    Length: ~ 55 km (30 mi)
Calling points: London Victoria, Brixton, 1st way - Denmark Hill, Peckham Rye, 2nd way - Beckenham Junction, both lines connect, Shortlands, Bromley South, St Mary Cray, Swanley, Farningham Rd, Longfield, Meopham, Sole Street, Rochester

    2. Faversham - Margate - Ramsgate; Faversham - Canterbury East - Dover Priory

This portion of the Chatham Main Line would bring us, the players, an opportunity to drive along the Kent Coast, which, from my previous experience with the East Coastway, would be an absolute win. We would be able to run commuter services via the coastal cities of Margate and Ramsgate, as well as going through the historic city of Canterbury continuing to the busy port city of Dover.
Length: Faversham - Ramsgate: 43 km (27 mi); Faversham - Dover: 40 km (25 mi)

Note: This is my personal suggestion. If Dovetail were to create at least one of these branches, it would be awesome.
Calling points (Faversham - Ramsgate): Whitstable, Chestfield & Swalecliff, Herne Bay, Birchington, Westgate, Margate, Broadstairs, Dumpton Park, Ramsgate
Calling points (Faversham - Dover): Selling, Canterbury East, Bekesbourne, Adisham, Aylesham, Snowdown, Shepherds Well, Kearsney, Dover Priory

Thank you for reading this as far as here. If you liked my idea or want to add something, don't hesitate to write a comment, I will be happy to read and respond to them.
Thanks once again and have a great rest of your day :)

So you’re suggesting an extension to a route that has already been extended and neglecting lots of parts of the UK that have been untouched. Think I’ll pass on this one

I quite agree. I would love to see it great suggestion. This would be like a complete Chatham Mainline and High Speed One merged into one DLC.

Couldn't say it better myself mate, I still can't believe the old Eastern Region has no routes. I couldn't think of anything worse than yet another southeast, electrostar, 3rd rail route for 2 or 3 years, though if it was down to me solely it would be much longer!

Yes there would be some good driving on this, with complete runs and so on, this suggestion brings no new assets or trains.
The Kent system is all javelins, electrostars, networkers and 700s, and when we get the 700 there's nothing else (unless you count the 171 on the Marshlink from Ashford (which I don't))

The problem I have with this is there are so many areas of the country which DON'T have any lines or assets in game which would provide similar experiences, but allow the game to expand in other ways

Take the lines out of Waterloo. Similar commuter experience, but with the 450 in game we could get the 350 (same body shell, different power) which runs everywhere from London to Liverpool
Get a few Sprinters in game and with the 158 you can populate much of the North of England.

Get these "basics" in and add one prestige train (say a 221, 390 or 800) and you have long distance possibilities.

You don't get that at all with "anything Kent" because nothing goes long distance from Kent. (which is a shame, because I live there and the most exciting thing you get is a class 59)

I can assure you right now that there will be very very few people who would be willing to buy an Electrostar as a dlc train especially when said Electrostar's are practically identical to the one's we already have in the game.

But it is a bit tiresome. I know I am fed up of anything southeast so I am sure many others feel that way too. Like I said upthread the whole of the old BR Eastern Region which is a vast area of land with many railways including mainlines and branchlines with regional, express and commuter traffoc has absolutely no routes represented in TSW. It's nearly as barmy as people wanting yet more modern SE, 3rd rail electrostar commuter shi ... sorry I mean, stuff in game.

I mean this route has had the:
    Class 465
Route Extention+Class 66 and MFA Wagon
    Class 66 and RHTT
Class 37 and Class 375. That makes 4 DLC's in total, which i believe makes this the route with the most DLC in the game

    Don't forget the upcoming 700.

I mean I wouldn't mind it if other routes were also getting an equal amount of DLC too, but that just ain't happenning yet. Hopefully Skyhook are going to get some good DLC for MML so at least there is a route north of the thames not being left empty.

The route is fine as it is doesn't need another extension I would rather see new routes in the game than extensions to existing routes

Plus the total route length would mean the route would cost a huge amount.

I like your idea but we'll never happen If DTG doesn't want players to pay a large amount for routes!!... I understand players like to speculate but It's also up to dovetail games!!...

There's no point sticking an entire post in bold. Kinda defeats the purpose of having bold in the first place.

An excellent suggestion...London Victoria on the sehs and Margate-Faversham vis Broadstairs would be great! Would personally like a section from Margate to St Pancras as I know that route very well. We've got pretty much all the modern stock (except the class 376 which ironically we don't have that in TSC) ....so why not finish the route?

In another thread Matt P. pretty much stated they have drawn the curtain on further development/expansion of SEHS and time to move on.

    • How about the structure which time schedule revision is a timing to do it, and extends a review and a line as well as reality? ?

True. I just like bold letters because that's how I roll I bet DTG are happy with their $30 price point for their DLCs I think it's unlikely to raise prices because of inflation won't stay around forever, it will have an end point It's just a matter of when similar to the pandemic... (Have Hope For A Better future)That's how I roll!!!

The prices could go back down but it's very unlikely.
And using bold for everything just defeats the entire point of having bold. It's to emphasise/highlight.

This needs to happen the southeastern route isn't remotely finished so much needs adding , up to ramsgate and dover , sheerness line , maidstone line , and it deffo needs to up to London or Luton now the 700 has been added , this will forever be a half hearted route until its completed

No, sehs is not at all a half hearted route. It is currently the only route to be extended in tsw and has many loco DLCs. it's 90 miles long there is nothing else which it really needs. This must make every route in tsw not even close to being finished.

Sehs is in no way half hearted, if anything it's one of the most complete routes we have in Tsw due to it's overall length and sheer variety.

    This.

Just early today I decided to make a massive change to my TSW experience and got the SEHS super starter bundle for PS5. And with EVERYTHING let me tell you the experience is INCREDIBLE. You basically have EVERY train you need for realism and the 90 miles has loads of fun and entertaining simulation. And not to mention it does have all of the domestic HS1 between Pancras and Ashford now.

Anyone who thinks it is lighthearted and not enough should take a good long look at everything it has to offer.

There are still many details and ai services which I am yet to discover, and that's after almost a year. I still haven't even pinned down all the seasonal services yet (of which there are plenty).

Exactly, it would be such a waste of time and money just to extend something with a lot to offer and many trains to drive. It's way better to extend a route that would be worth the extension or just create a new route.

Until all of this is included, SEHS is incomplete... ;)

This seems like you don't appreciate what you get no matter even if it gets more. SEHS has got more and more things added making it better and people still complain. To be realistic all that is too much to ask for in game and we have the HS1, the javelin, class 700 and so on I feel like we need to appreciate what we have and wait for more routes to come rather than an unneeded expansion.
