A few bugs: If you shut down a cab at Hadfield and walk to the other end the AI takes over, releases the brakes and the train rolls away with the doors open. Exactly the same at Bromsgrove on BCC 0mph speed board at Manchester end of Guide Bridge up & down loop (see screenshot) The freights that goes into Guide Bridge loop don't get approach control, so there's no warning of the 20mph reduction. Also the exit signal at the Flower Fields end of the loop doesn't show a route indicator for moves towards Hyde North. And that eye adaption is really annoying still. Especially apparent with the 323 in cuttings where lighting blows out (see screenshot). There's also that weird fake sky reflection in the windscreen. It was fixed on the 158 but still remains here.
Hey there, thanks for reporting these issues Have you been able to reliably repeat this? And can anyone else confirm that this happens? I'll try to repeat it myself once the DLC has been downloaded, sorry my internet is rather slow today. Noted, thank you! Can I still ask you to please raise a support ticket, especially for the AI taking over and rolling away with open doors? You can find the link to our support page here: Support : Dovetail Support
dtg_jan Easy to repeat. Also does it on the Birmingham CC WM 323 too, I ticketed this Nov 2022! Drive a timetabled service Glossop to Hadfield, or New St to Four Oaks (both stations have steep grades) When you arrive, let the session end, and click continue in free roam Leave the drivers seat and step onto the platform At some point an AI driver will sit in the other end, It will put the reverser to neutral and release the brakes. The train will roll away with the doors staying open. Oddly you can press Control + 0 and it puts you in the seat. So the 323 is getting an AI driver, but thinks you are still driving.
If you make sure the AWS & DSD are not isolated in both cabs they won’t be able to release the brakes. Just a temporary workaround.
I'll try that - It means setting up AWS at both ends before starting though. Or just keyboard shortcut to the other end so you get there before the AI sits down heh.
I highlighted this bug in BCC in the announcement thread about Glassip and asked DTG would it be fixed. Clearly it was ignored and I knew the same bug would make it into Glossop. It's a very easy bug to re create. I got it on my first run on the BCC route so it clearly was not play tested. I also created at least 2 threads myself here, stating service numbers and details but still ignored by DTG. The AI even SPADs from this bug.
xbox series s, Gossip Line scenario, at Ashburys, standing right on the marker and frantically pressing the A button but will not take a picture and I cannot move forward in the scenario. Is this a bug or am I just not mashing the A button hard enough (that’s sarcasm)?
I also experienced this at Hadfield, went to change ends & my train gently trundled off to Manchester while walking down the platform.
Some small "bug" from my side, seems service dont end with the task that all passengers leave the train, so basicly in the depot and when starting the service cold and dark at ardwick, the 323 is full of passengers. Thats problem was a big thing in older routes, but seems dtg started to introduce stuff, which they actually have resolved (screen from the depot). I really suggest to keep up your quality standard strict to a ckecklist & feature list.
I ask again here: Will the flickering and invisible trees issue be fixed? Or will it stay like this? dtg_jan
