Let's Speculate What Will Be On July's Road Map

Yes that is true it could be a repeat of last year. There will be much groaning if so. It is just a matter of time though till something "big" is announced I am sure.

 

I'm hoping for a remake of London commuter with new content because Brighton main line is one of my favorite after Southeastern High Speed.
Also would be happy if we got South Western Railway, Southwest Trains and Great Western Express remake.

 

More excuses and less action. Basically what dtg have always done

 

It’s not going to happen but how pants on head bonkers would US players go if on july 4th they announced that they’re releasing a GP7

 

Only route it would fit on is Clinchfield, and that is not up to TOD4 specs. It wouldn't make sense to make it.

- An announcement of the August Road Map for sure (first week of the month?)
- Train Sim Universe - Railway to the Stars announced.
- a new blind driver simulation mode, which fixes all stuttering and rendering issues as everything will be black (all sound issues will be fixed by the preservation crew in about 5 years)
- a new deaf driver simulation mode, which fixes all sound issues.
- complete route for all of France, simulating an accurate national railway strike.
- dtg office simulator where you have find the missing preservation crew fixes for TSW2.

 

We should be getting a clearer picture by Tuesday.at least we hope

 

Erm, maybe an update as to when the MML hotfix patch might be released!!

 

Will be very disappointed if we don't hear some very positive news about the rebirth of NYT.

 

Yea it seems a little strange.Last year it was a similar situation with Bakerloo and Hamburg timetable were held back until you know what happened…….Hopefully we hear something.

 

Hopefully with July’s Roadmap we get some sort of hint that the “big 3” or “huge summer update” is indeed coming to TSW3. And hopefully the Just Trains route gets revealed.

 

For this upcoming roadmap I really hope it's the new just train route being announced with a release date. Also I hope we get any news regarding GWE's 5-year anniversary in tsw franchise. I really hope they finally reveal if the GWE hst livery designer functionality is ready.

 

I'm hoping for some TSW 3 versions of older routes. Like for instance "London Commuter - The Director's Cut featuring The Rush Hour Passengers" (Yes that will be the title)

- Announce the release date of Class700
- BR193 announced and show some pictures
- NYT timetable update
- July DLC patch push plan
- Third party development update

 

Check preservation crew...... I think they do a little each month...

 

What I’d like to see:

New content

• Detailed info on the Class 700 (basically guaranteed since the preview stream date has already been announced)
• Reveal of the German loco
• Full reveal of Just Train’s British route (which will hopefully release towards the end of July or early August)
• Teaser for the summer routes or content pack (or whatever else they’ve got planned, but there’s clearly something big coming)

Fixes/Patches/etc

• Is there anything (fixes/updates) being worked on for the most recent releases (Peak Forest and Glossop)
• Update on the missing Niddertalbahn fixes, NY-Trenton timetable and MML Hotfix (which should all be reasonably close to release)
• Update on Add-Ons Manager and the difficulties of bringing it to XBOX/PC
• Update on the PenCorr and Oakville issues
• General comment/clarification surrounding the enormous delays many patches and fixes have been facing

 

The Preservation Crew was disbanded and its leader has left DTG.
What remains of their TSW2 work is now being handled by the Special Projects Team.

 

What if DTG surprise us, and there’s no summer update

 

Or they are combining TSC and TSW into one hybrid programme.

- NYT Patch Release
- JT Route
- Thameslink Class 700
- Union Workshop Japanese route
- US Freight Route Reveal
- Reveal 3 Summer routes [Hopefully Rush Hour passenger routes]
- Vision for TSW and further performance improvements

 

If they included 24 hour timetables in TSC I'd ditch TSW in an instant

Well, there was no excuse this month for GWE HST livery editor so it'll probably be on the July roadmap just like since November as "imminent in testing" or some other such nonsense again.

 

I would be surprised if we got any surprise content for Southeastern Highspeed Dartford and Rochester to London Victoria/City Thameslink It would be a welcome surprise If it happened alongside the class 700/0

Anyone else surprised by the lack of new routes on the roadmap? Does this mean no big summer release?

 

There's still more of summer remaining. Tsw3 got announced pretty late so we'll probably see an announcement in august or maybe even September depending on when dtg wants to release it

Very pertinent point. The pattern is around end of July or beginning of August to announce. About 30 days before release.
