Playing train simulation 3 and looking at most of the trains available it looks like a good idea to suggest that we could go for a great northern line from King's Cross and Moor Gate as most of the trains are available in the game all we need is the line ? 387 700 313 hst class 66 and Any chance of getting some feedback on my suggestion please A 317 320 365 or class 91 would be a great add on too
It'd need licensing- licensing is the issue moreso than trains. I *think* dtg has great northern but a 313 would be in I belive FFC livery which they do not have the license for.
If you take time to read through previous posts you will see ECML (and WCML) usually get suggested at least twice a week. However DTG have shown no inclination to actually build it. Or at least a small part.
Yeah your right But they did just stick a great northern sign over the fcc livery! It would be a unique option to drive the overhead train in the underground tunnels and the power charge of ac to dc at Drayton Park
We have to try give DTG a nudge and a wink please A pretty please as I'm a big fan of the game and I grew up over looking the Hornsey deport ! How do I contact them
You don't. Trying to email or PM staff members for "requests" is likely to get you banned. You've posted here alongside all the other requests. If DTG want to build part of the ECML, if no then not a thing you can do about it.
This year things may change. There is nothing wrong with asking. Let's DTG know the feeling on the street too. They will ban you if you spam them or continue to message them. But I would only contact them once.
What is the FCC livery? Great northern operates on ECML only? Is that where the famous LNER steam engine passenger trains operated?
That statement is as valuable as "Every 60 seconds in Africa, a minute passes". It's true but it's just useless at the same time. Depends on the quality of the post. In this case - no offense to the OP - it's not really offering anything worth saying. Just repeating what numerous other suggestions say, more or less to the letter. FCC - First Capital Connect. And yes, the ECML is where the (old) LNER ran it's Steam Trains.
Very true and as said DTG are well aware of how popular the ECML would be from the regular spam but (unless it turns up as the summer release package) don't seem to give a flying fig about building it. (Well at least a short section).
I hear your words about contacting them ! Maybe I will ask megasim on YouTube to try give it a mention as he is highly thought of by DTG !
The flying scotsman is always going out of King's Cross to Edinburgh and some famous pullman rail tours are always bussing up and down the line ! Yeah there is a good history of LNER on this line 125 hst 225 hst And now the 800 azuma!
The ECML is in the game (Darlington is on the ECML & a short section on SEHS). The WCML is also in Spirit of Steam (you wouldn't get to Crewe from Liverpool otherwise). Not exactly what people think of when they say ECML or WCML, but they are there, albeit not in the way people want
Darlington is an ECML station but none of the ECML is Drivable as you turn off straight away and in SEHS it is there for AI purely and is not the line that is driven so you cannot drive on the ECML on TSW whereas, like you say the WCML can be driven on.
Me too I would love the ecml from the London terminals to be added in the game one day Anyway I will open another can of worms with this one Does anyone know if the class 700 FLU and RLU will be coming to the city commuters lines or will we get the whole theamslink franchise lines to the game?
That's why I added the last paragraph. In any case, it would be better if we got a route that is exclusively ECML/WCML.
Yeah I'm wondering if we will see the 707 too one day Or if the 700s will come to the London commuters route from east Croydon to Brighton?
Along way to go for that yet. Memory issues persistent with BML mean that the 700 can't be added yet. There is space in the timetable for it, though.
