Hey I am playing on a triple screen setup, it looks AMAZING the only question i have is

Can you reposition the HUD anyway?

Im no train expert what so ever but I love the hud being in the middle, however on the 3 screen setup it puts it all the way to the right hand side, this means I have to sit looking at the far right of the far screen and missing half the game etc.

Is there a way this can be moved back to the centre at all please as it would make a huge difference especially when i start up streaming again soon

    Thank you in advance

( previously i was FITF or fingered in the Forest )

also the part in the top right where it displays speed and distance to the next marker if the two can be moved optionally that would be all the difference

More HUD customisation would be a great thing. I would like the speedometer to be a lot smaller and I also want to get rid of the action point counter whilst keeping the distance to the next destination visible.

I would like to move it too. Three monitors is great but my neck is getting stiff from looking right all the time.

I’m on Xbox series x but with a wireless keyboard attached. You can remove Action Points by CTRL + 6 which still leaves the other markers on the screen. Hope this helps. ;)

No way to make the speedometer smaller. If there’s really 1 thing I hate in TSW it’s the HUD setup. But I need some of the info on most routes I play tbh.

To mitigate my problem, I tend to toggle the speedometer on/off as I need (CTRL + F5).

CTRL + F4 gets rid of the signal aspect- this I do, and if you press it again it’ll dump the upcoming speed aspect but I usually need that so I keep it.

Really wish the hud would be reworked one day. Truthfully, I don’t have a solution so I don’t know how they’d change it or if there’s even a demand to change it, so likely it’s my unique problem to mitigate… and in the end it won’t stop me from enjoying the game.

    But from my experience:
    • I don’t need a HUD speedometer, ever. Because the speed is right there in the cab. Wish I could get rid of the hud speedo.
    • Ditto for brake pressures.
    • What I do need, personally, is something that tells me the current track speed limit (that little red dot on the speedo) because I can’t always know when the back of the train has cleared the previous limit + yes sometimes I forget the speed limit lol
    • I want to nuke that long strip at the top of the screen telling me where the next stop is… it’s intrusive for me
    • For clarity I do play without stop markets and go via markets and that multi colored stop strip from the tutorials
Sort of wish there was a way I could set up my hud to those requirements but like I said it’s something I’ll probably just have to deal with.

I’m not at home at the moment but I think CTRL+1 toggles the destination markers. On Xbox anyway.

Thank you- I have those turned off but I’m talking more about the big clock and destination thing, top left. I think we’re stuck with that. Maybe I can just start CTRL + every button until I find a way lol

The only other thing I can think of is CTRL+F1 removes all hud, then CTRL+4 to add speed and signal, and then add CTRL+5 for HUB Speedometer. Sorry can’t be more help. Good luck ;)

its when im using the three screens like i say it moves it all over to the far right it should stay in the centre as i have to sit looking at the bottom right of all 3 screens if that makes sense its gorgeous on 3 screens but that ruins it there must be a way to move it or change the positioning

My suggestion would be move the HUD a certain number of pixels from the center, so no matter what resolution you are on it would be located in top right of the center screen on a 3 monitor setup, and same location for a single screen. Is there anyone that knows all of the commands that could possibly do this? Like the below changes the menu and HUD size:
    [/Script/Engine.UserInterfaceSettings]
    ApplicationScale=0.750
Is there such a command for a specific element to be relocated on the screen?
I put up with it on the extreme right because three monitors is better for immersion than single, stopping just short of VR.
