I've set up a website that has the TSW service mode timetables all listed, but with additional info such as which rollingstock provides the service, and also its starting platform. I've currently added a few more platform indicators for intermediate stops, but I need to manually note these as I play, so I will keep adding to this in the future. The home page lists all the services, so you can use your browser's find in page function to get to a particular service, or you can enter a service number at the top to fiter the page so that it shows just that one service. To get back to all services, just click the title bar at the top of the page. I find it useful to have this open on my iPad as I play the game, or on a separate screen if you have more than one. The site is located at http://tswtimetableonline.azurewebsites.net
Probably not, I don't play CSX Heavy Haul much, if at all. Is it really applicable, given there are no passenger services though?
I'd love to see some form of this in the game itself. Knowing which platform a train goes to and how long it takes to get there is super duper nice to have.
This is very useful, thanks a bunch! Feature request: can you add some filtering on station and a timeslot? Right now I'm ingame, standing at West Ealing at 21:15 at night, without any idea of when the next train is due.
This is great! It really helps when there are multiple reasons when walking around at Paddington and I'm trying to find the service is want to do
This had crossed my mind also - if I find time I will certainly look into adding such a feature. Thanks for the feedback!
Very awesome stuff right here all I want is TSW to fit in like real life not to much to ask is it xD.
You can now type in a station and time, and the display will filter to services with trains at that station at the time you enter and within 15 minutes into the future. e.g. if you enter "twyford" and "2120" it will show any services that arrive or pass through Twyford any time between 21:20 and 21:35. Hope you find it useful!
Forgot to say, if you just enter a station name with no time, it will list all services which actually stop at that station, and shows only the entry for that station so you can quickly scan through to see what services stop at a particular station, and when. Platforms will be added as and when I make a note of them. I've also made a few corrections to the Depot Services and fixed a few transcription errors.
I don't have the DLC yet - the timetable is about to be published soon according to Matt P. so as soon as I get the DLC and have access to the timetable, I will have a look into expanding the service to include it - I'll post any updates in this thread, but I think it may well be after Christmas before I have time - stay tuned!
Thanks so much for your great work dude... This was my dream to have a timetable like this, and you just have made my dream come true Thank you so much
Can't believe DTG haven't provided a timetable for Rapid Transit yet. This really should be available at the time of release. Makes swapping services somewhat difficult when you don't know when to expect another service. Well done to Volvolover for his basic version but he shouldn't have to do it. Come on DTG, get it sorted.
Ok sorry if bumping into an old topic isn't allowed (which if it is, then it should be locked by a moderator lol). But I tried the timetable mentioned here and it doesn't help at all. On 14:50 in-game there was going to come a train...and the train did pass by but didn't stop lol. Why would I want a timetable of trains that are passing by and not stopping?! Doesn't make any sense to me. So for those looking for a timetable, don't waste your time on this one. And YES I was on the correct station and platfrom. https://prnt.sc/moq40t
I just fired up the game and spawned in at Acton Main Line at 14:50. The train was right there in the platform! So I don't know what you did wrong. Also for reference, if a train is not stopping the time on the timetable is greyed out. So if anyone was thinking they were "wasting their time on this one", think again - this was user error not timetable error!
Just to clear up any possible confusion, there are no trains that stop at Acton Main Line on the console versions of the game. Those services are only available on PC.
Not that I can see. I suggest that for up to date timetables you look at Wonterail's excellent timetable thread here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/wonterails-service-mode-timetables.17878/
No service in GWE stops at each of the 16 stations. There are few "special" services however, like 2R19 which is the only one stopping at Hanwell: https://smtimetables.herokuapp.com/location/121
