He's doing the Officers' job. Enforce the law, don't answer questions. On an semi-related note, I personally like the comical way my posts look when the [Removed - {Staff} - Swearing] gets edited in, so I continue to do it. Sorry mods, it's just funny.
Yeah, I don't begrudge the CS2 one to be honest, I was just thinking of my wallet. After the Sim City 5 shambles it was lovely to have a city building game with mods again and it's had a good run. MS and Asobo have clearly rolled back on their promise of a "10 year product cycle" just as MS appear to have misled us about Win 10 being a long-term OS project.
TSW: 24 July 2018 TSW 2: 20 August 2020 TSW 3: 2 September 2022 I would say there is an already established trend when it comes to new TSW title releases, and based on that, I would take an educated guess at around September/ October 2024 for the next instalment.
Let's predict - couple cosmetic changes & three routes to charge 44,99€? But I'm not even mad, I just purchased TSW3 finally in reasonable price. Good time to spend waiting for new SimRail content. TSW4 I consider to buy on Steam 2025 Summer Sale, when it will be 75% - shortly before TSW5...
unless your on console and that’s non existent , though 2017 is the year I picked up founders edition for Xbox one I’m sure it was.. Console release may contribute in some way to keep to at least a not every year trend, but it should be more every 3-4 at least not 1-2.
I am afraid the only French I know can't be repeated on this forum and not only because it's French! I am afraid we will have to converse in English mate.
I think it's way too early for Train Sim World 4 because TSW 3 is not even a year old and still not bug free. I'm not asking for it to be completely perfect, but things like TSW 2 still being written in many places, like tutorials, or when selecting or buying a route, they haven't even been able to fix yet. Will it still say "Train Sim World 2" in the fourth part then? Or will the Arosa line still look like in TS days? Besides, apart from a new menu layout and the training center - which I personally never use anyway - nothing has changed in the third part compared to the second. The new routes could have been released as add-ons and probably would have made DTG more money... I didn't see the point of buying the current part until May. The only reason was that there were no new routes and vehicles for the second one anymore.
I believe that TSW 4, which I believe releases in 2024, will have an extra route; Here are the four routes: Liverpool Lime Street - Warrington Bank Quay with Class 323 and Class 319 Flatbush Av - Wakefield 241st St with R142 and R62 Köln - Koblenz with BR101 and BR143 Køge St. to Holte with ER (IR4) and MQ Desiro Edit: These are all predictions.
I think it'll have: Dtg making ECML South London to Peterborough and a lock pack with class 91, a Deltic and the flying Scotsman Then skyhook games with make Peterborough to York. Then Armstrong powerhouse make York to Newcastle Then Rivet Games make Newcastle to Edinburgh. Then it all gets joined up. P.S: friend (derek#2931) gave me this idea. Feel free to take credit blow.
seems a very large section, especially for Rivet to handle, I was surprised to see as long as Edinburgh to Glasgow done by then.
I have actually spoken to rivet about mainlines before and they said that something like the WCML might not be too difficult for them as it's not alot of stations for them to model and it's mostly scenary.
Sorry. Think I ment Alan Thompson Sim. Um... wasn't it announced recently though that AP were joining the tsw partner list.
Leeds is defo on the list. There'll be a branch line for northern services and the mainline to Leeds via Doncaster. Just trains might work Doncaster route when they finish Blackpool to Preston.
That really depends on which section of the Wcml they are referring to. Wcml south (the most requested section) would have the most mileage and stations of any route in Tsw.
Well yes. At the time it was talking about the north section but they would probably have similar feelings about ECML north.
Please keep Rivet well away from anything involving the WCML! Can you imagine the mess they would make of Class 86 or Class 87 tap changer physics…
Yes. The hope is tho they could do it modern day with only like a pendolino or smth and let dtg to the rest of the stock while they handle the stations and scenary.
No. They have no interest in joining tsw. They only sell sounds. The most recent 3rd party was Union workshop, ats and jt.
Nothing to do with how long you've been here. Coming out with that comment (when, to be clear, I have in numerous threads admitted TSW4 is coming despite my disbelief, and, hell, I even started the biggest thread about Dovetail Direct / TSW4, prior to today) is just a bit pathetic.
lol - ok I was respectful when posting news of the leak, and polite when trying to explain the source is credible - and you were pretty rude. I did not "bookmark" the post, as this site tracks comments - but maybe you should be more welcoming to new members to "your" forum. That's all.
Before making predictions for TSW4, let’s make some for the next opus: TSW3. Here’s a low quality leak that I found for TSW3 which is set to be released in a month apparently.
I am speculating wildly here but I am thinking the 26th of September and there will be early access which I think will release on the 21st of September. If I am right I get a pint, if I am wrong you get a pint? Fair deal I'd say.
I make that two for if I'm right seeing as you have entered the deal, one from you one from Tyler. Obviously pints of milk!
