SkyTrain is the medium-capacity rapid transit system in the Metro Vancouver Regional District, serving Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.[8] SkyTrain has 79.6 km (49.5 mi) of track and uses fully automated trains on grade-separated tracks running on underground and elevated guideways, allowing SkyTrain to hold consistently high on-time reliability.[3][9] The name "SkyTrain" was coined for the system during Expo 86 because the first line (Expo) principally runs on elevated guideway outside of Downtown Vancouver, providing panoramic views of the metropolitan area. SkyTrain uses the world's second-longest cable-supported transit-only bridge, known as SkyBridge, to cross the Fraser River.[10]

Seems pointless to have driverless vehicles in the game.

I guess you're right, it would be pointless to have a driverless vehicle in TSW I think DTG are already made a Glasgow Subway route. That's automatic in train simulator classic

Skytrain can be driven in Manual mode , STA Skytrain attendants are trained to drive the trains manually doing full station stops

Yeah but it's not the intended operation of these trains, I've been on them and they don't have a cab as such.

For DTG they can make it ATO level 3 Train driver/Guard open doors train drives itself. UTO ATO Level 4 no staff think of JFK Air Train

still not the intended operation, it's like the sydney metro, they have control consoles but in regular operation they have no staff onboard and everything is controled by the computer, though they do have a command centre. I suspect it would be rather un-simulator like to have a 'ato failure' every run so.

Get it now but DTG can try making it ATO level 3 like the DLR Train Conductor US Canada Term for a UK/Australia Guard opens the door but the train is meant to drive itself. ATO Level 2 Train drives itself driver is on standby think of German LZB routes which are SFS Hannover Wurzburg Koln Aachen Rapid Transit Bitterfeld area and Munchen Augsburg

Regardless, There are procedures time schedules and other functions that would make interesting simulation, coupling uncoupling , three types of trains amark 1,2 and 3, there canbe diversion routes, procedures to iisolate doors if door status issues, PIEs and or Gim trips EB trains, switches to make sure are for or against etc.. it would be interesting and challenging .
