What time standard is used in TSW3? As an example, I am driving Cane Creek at 1945 hrs on 6 July and the sun has already set. But the actual sunset time in Utah is 2046 Mountain Daylight Time for this day; the sun should still be up. I have also seen where someone else posted that sunrise in Germany in June was around 0300 in the game which is of course impossible in reality. Just wondering what scale or standard for time of day is used? PC Ryzen 7 RTX 3060
I have noticed that some UK summer evenings, around 7pm where it is still very much daylight, do sometimes seem a bit dark, the shadows are getting a little too long.
Even worse, sunrise on MKZ in April is around 3:00am. Funny enough, if you don´t drive a journey around that time, but instead spawn on foot same spot same time, it´s pitch black (as it should be). IMHO something is fundamentally wrong with time zones and daylight hours in TSW and how they´re reproduced. But there´re far worse shortcomings than only this. I can live with that bug,
We used to have an outside view when selecting the time of day and weather, this was useful for getting the light to how you wanted. Then they messed it up by putting the view inside a train station roof so you could not see the weather but you still had the light. Now we have nothing.
I don't think the game takes adjusted Summer Time into account - I find the light to match the outside if I set the time to an hour earlier than reality in the summer. It would be nice if this could be rectified - can't be that hard surely?
Maybe they are keeping the times off a bit so we in N. hemisphere can adjust to the much-requested Australia Route!
