Hello, I was playing a S-Bahn service from Mammendorf to Munich HBF, the S3 to Holzkirchen at 7 am in November, it was very dark but there was no light at any of the stations I was stopping. Why is there no lighting? Another thing I want to mention is that the Munich HBF is very empty, we have so many trains in TSW which could layer into this route around munich but we only have the services running between Augsburg and Munich. Maybe there will be a timetable update in the future?! I know that there is still the problem on the old gen consoles with layers and maybe a timetable update with more traffic around Munich will not be easy but it would be very great.
I think most of the older routes the station lights were set to activate at specific times, so don’t change in winter when the sun rises later and sets earlier or in poor visibility. So you end up with this period of darkness. HRR suffers the same problem. However these routes are now firmly in the fire and forget dumpster so far as updates are concerned, which probably goes for layers in from other routes too.
Where did you hear that? It would be brilliant if so and I’d definitely play HMA more but I haven’t heard anything about that
I am sure it was mentioned on one of the streams and I have seen it referred to on here. I will see if I can find reference to it.
It was brought up in the roadmap stream and yes it's getting an optimisation pass. Not sure if that's going to be an upgrade or just a performance thing
It was in a roadmap stream and mentioned again in this months roadmap stream. It had to be done to make the 420 work on all platforms.
That would be great cause I would love to see more traffic there but I think it could just be a performance upgrade cause its one layer more and old gen consoles would not be able to bay the 420 without solving the performance issue.
Yeah thats what I thought. But more AI traffic more standing stock would add more life to this route. Its to empty in my opinion. So a timetable update would be great but I know the munich mainstation has a lot of tracks and it really is a performance thing on I think the biggest main station in this game?!
I actually think your earlier comment stands on the whole, just HMA being the exception which proves the rule solely because the route as it stands isn't capable of supporting TSG's no doubt superb BR420, and the bean counters feel that the release of the 420 will generate enough new sales of HMA to warrant the expense of the work.
