Class 321 Loco

Hi Dovetail,

i would like to suggest a new loco the good old dusty bin class 321 those were the trains of my childhood especially when silverlink had them

 

Which route does it run on? What is soo special about the unit? What are some details of it in regards to speed, passenger formations, etc. A lay person would have no idea what the 321 is.

 

There are currently no routes in Tsw that the class 321 operates on, unless you modify it to the class 320 and release it as a loco dlc for Cathcart Circle.

 

321's usurped the 310 on the WCML and in turn replaced by the 350's.

They were also the de facto suburban unit on the GEML replacing slam door stock.

Not bad units, sat in the motor car you still got a nice melodious traction "electrothrash" not the milk float or electric car sounds of more recent EMU's.

 

They also worked along the GEML to Ipswic if I remember right.

 

And Colchester town, Colchester and Southend Victoria via Romford from
London Liverpool Street station

 

I’d love to see great Anglia class 321 on the London Liverpool Street line to Colchester town, Colchester and Southend Victoria via Romford

 

Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria would suffice.

It is only 40 miles long and takes around 1 hour. Which is the standard nowadays.

 

That’s not to bad and i would love to drive a great Anglia class 321 as they sound different or similar to the class 314 and 315

 

Have the 321s doing leeds to doncaster in WPYPTE livery along with GNER services, boom perfect route for the dustybin.

I think greater Anglia class 321 are better because they are nice and I like the service from London Liverpool Street station to Colchester town, Colchester and Southend Victoria via Romford

 

Aren't the only differences cosmetic though?

Yh because I’ve always wanted to drive a train route in the east on tsw3

 

East London and Essex is a nice place to drive a train and so is Southend

 

I know for a fact the the TFL rail class 315 and greater Anglia class 321 sound different but similar

 

Yes as you may hqve guessed I think it is of key importance that the old eastern region gets a representation in game.

 

Not forgetting Norfolk, Suffolk Cambridgeshire and (the best) Lincolnshire.

 

Never heard a 315 in honesty mate though I'd imagine they are similar to the 313s.

Also how could you forget about the most important county in England!

 

Yh they are the only difference is that the southern class 313 doesn’t have a pantograph where as the TFL Rail class 315 have the pantograph

 

Well the only 313s I've seen are the GN ones which had pantos.

331s look nice imo
