Rainham Station Platform 0

Why does platform 0 not have any PIS (passenger information screens) this shouldn't be missing it has two in reality looking on Google images and from YouTube simply why haven't they been added into the game? It's supposed to be a simulator close to reality.

 

Yes I do very much agree. It really does need to be added in as it is nice if you don't want to start off with Thameslink. so EG make your way down to Rainham from Faversham and see the next trains. Having that realism all that matters and not having P0 PiS knocks it off a little. So If you could do this DTG that would be perfect!

Wasn't there also supposed to be TL signage and stop markers? Swore i saw that in one of the previews?

 

it didn't make it in to the update for the 700 but they will come at a later date or the next patch.

 

Lol "the next patch" should be DTG'a slogan at this point

 

The missing pis at rainham has been like that going back to tsw2. Considering it's been a issue for two years, I doubt they would address the problem

 

Plus the route was redone with Ashford extension so it won’t happen I’m afraid.

 

Though you would think now with the Class 700 Thameslink using the platform they would add it in

I remember that was brought up months ago but never got answered. Maybe they can add it with the stop markers get installed during the big core update

 

I think I recall that, I was always under the impression it didn’t exist in real life tbh for some reason as to why it wasn’t their.

Well today got an update for SEHS but unfortunately for other fixes which is a good thing still no pis on platform 0 at rainham and another note no stop markers for 700 still

 

The stop markers really blow my mind- they were in the promo shots in the June roadmap....so they took them out and forgot to put them back in???

It was LITERALLY on the roadmap lol

 

Yea the PIS on the AI trains from day one....

I'm speculating but I think the might somehow attached to a future route.....maybe. just as the NYT is attached to "core update" maybe..... I'm probably wrong but just a guess

 

I doubt you will get a response from Dovetail they've been quiet all week tbh

 

That's odd- my last SEHS update was June 29

 

The DTG response of "We aware of the issue and are looking into it" has the same vibe as the "We are checking" response from the Ferrari F1 team pitwall whenever Leclerc or Sainz have an issue or query something.

 

There is another one (only just noticed it today but it wasn't there earlier this morning).

This update was to introduce a reduced timetable which only takes out the playable TGV services. It may have also taken out some AI services as well.

 

Yup, it appeared and downloaded about 15 min after I posted that.

Don't worry. If you want a response from DTG, just tell them how good the game is and Matt, J.D, Jan or Alex will come along to thank you for the positivity

I wonder how long it will be until we hear anything of the sort about a patch for the 700, yes they’re probably working on stuff bts but it’s not an excuse to not communicate with us about an add on which was literally just released

 

I think what you are going to hear first is “no plans to add a PIS screen at platform 0

 

If it’s not on the roadmap I suppose

 

James has confirmed on Discord that the PIS at Rainham platform 0 will be coming in the same update as the Thameslink stop markers

 

That's really good to hear, as a Rainham resident myself the lack of PIS on platform 0 was a bug bear of mine.

I think at times they may forget to add PIS at stations, like on BCC their isn't any PIS for Selly Oaks.

 

That's more likely considering how they forget some other (and more important) things.

 

Some 465 services stopped at Rainham didn't they on platform 0 that's why I thought it was odd there was no pis there on the game when it is in real life but its good there finally putting it on

Was that with the TSW2 version, or TSW3?

 

TSW3 I'm sure I saw some stop at Rainham when I was doing another service before the 700 came along
