Hello. It would be very nice to have a Amsterdam to Den Haag route in the Netherlands with the Intercity trains and the HST train, with stops in between going to Rotterdam, and then to Den Haag, and then a break off route to Haarlem
Excellent idea but for DTG they will start with an existing German route on the one end an extended to the Netherlands you can see this with Oldenburg Leer Groningen Wunderline 129km 202km Hollandstrecke Duisburg/Bochum-Oberhausen Arnhem Utrecht Centraal 46 km of HRR merged with 156 km of HDU.
Do you really need to comment the same Hollandstrecke every time a Dutch suggestion pops up? This particular suggestion doesn't even come close to the German border (it's actually on the opposite side, on the west coast). It's getting annoying IMO.
My rational for it if DTG wants to expand into the Netherlands they might as well use existing German stations and have a route that runs from them to the Dutch side of the Border with Germany. Which is why I brought up Duisburg-Oberhausen-Arnhem Utrecht Centraal via Zevenaar & Emmerich am Rhein. Also another option is Diesel route Groningen Bad Nieuwschans which is on the Dutch side opposite of Leer (Ostf) Germany. with the electric section being Bremem Oldenburg Leer (Ostf). As stated by other users BRO should be BGR Bremen Groningen distance on that one is 173 km end to end broken down as 129km Oldenburg Leer Bad Nieuwschans Groningen & the existing 44 km Bremen Oldenburg.
DTG and third parties have proven to be fully capable of creating a route without the need to reuse existing stations, so there's absolutely no need for you to bring up the same Hollandstrecke everytime someone suggests a particular Dutch route. If you want the Hollandstrecke, make your own suggestion topic for it, but please stop abusing other suggestion topics.
