I’ve read a lot about the class 700 and how it should be on BML and like wise, in recent days, I’ve read a lot about the sound quality of the 700 not being up to much. So, here’s the deal, what would you prefer if you had the choice; a). Class 700 on BML from next month, but no sound enhancement. Or, b). Class 700 with sound enhancement, but stuck on SEHS until TSW4 release. I would be interested to hear your views on this so please feel free to add your comments below. Thanks
I'd vote A. The sounds are a little quiet, but i can deal. The 700 not being on BML is a big deal for me.
What would the service pattern look for the 700/0 and a potential 700/1 on the BML including the peak rare services
Unfortunately the people that desperately want the 700 on BML will be the same people that would moan when the route would run like rubbish and crash if they added it.
I think it would take more than a month to put it onto bml and do extensive testing on it. But that is unlikely to happen since dtg already said no. So don't expect it anytime soon or at all.
This and there would be those that would complain that they can only go far to east Croydon. There are already those complaining how the Rainham to Dartford service is repetitive so it would also be repetitive on BML. It's a lose lose for DTG as far as I'm concerned
To be fair, Brighton to East Croydon semi fast would be far more enjoyable than the current Dartford to Rainham crawl. Decent distance (40 odd miles) and a chance to get a bit of speed out of the thing.
not to mention a diversity of services, Gatwick, Three bridges, Brighton, AI trains at Streatham over pass trains heading to sutton and AI peak services heading to East Grinstead
How can there be something wrong with a hypothetical scenario with a choice option? There are plenty of people who are not happy with the sound of the 700, just have a look around the forum. You are entitled to your opinion, but that’s all it is, your opinion. The point of this was to get everyone’s opinion. Happy voting
The next gen consoles will be fine with the 700 on the bml with the memory they have it's just a shame that it won't be on there
I would agree the sound on the AP is better at the moment .However, AP version doesn't have a GSMR or a functional TMS. Also the TSW 3 version has working extract fans on the roof that are visible and actually turn. the AP version doesn't
The sound is probably problematic when you know the 700 in real life. I don't have any problem with the sound because I don't know how it sounds in real life so BML is way more important
Yep, just used the mod on TSC that subs in the 700 on the BML. I only have 8GB of RAM and no real issues so far. Same stuttering as I get on every route, no crashes yet.
I drove Three Bridges to Victoria with no issues whatsoever. A bit of stuttering but I haven't played the route forever. I’m sure next time I drive it it will be smooth.
Of course I’d like the sound fixed. It is the only possible thing on the cards at the moment. I just want to be able to clearly hear the AWS and for the looping artefacts to be gone. Oh, and there is no need for another thread to say that. I think we all have to wait and see what happens with London Commuter. Take it as told that at present it will not be getting the Class 700 on it. If it did it would be a paid DLC due to how much work it would be or as part of a paid extension or something but if it isn’t happening there’s no point going on about it. DTG are well aware that players really really want the 700 on BML and have done since launch, and nothing anyone says now will magically make it happen any sooner. The sound fixes can happen right away if DTG listen. Mind you, if they did more listening they would have heard the muffled and quiet AWS sounds during testing and upped the volume in the mix before release. For some reason the AWS sounds are always quieter on PS5 than on PC based live streams. They won’t be reading this thread though.
Hopefully they are but apart from JD commenting in the nerf thread there has been zero input from anyone at DTG regarding the sound and other issues being discussed in the main feedback thread. The 700 has spun off the Dovetail Flywheel and fingers in the ears, moving on folks to our big summer release schedule and/or TSW4…
More official services, the creators club is an ok stop gap, but it's very poorly designed and implemented. Other than that, the rest is fine.

Thank you. Thant’s some great information. That’s about 16 trains both ways. That’s a lot services. Do all the services run 24 hours? How would the late night service look
Nope, a majority of the TL services have a similar pattern to the Rainham-Luton services from SEHS which finish late at night and then start earlier in the mornings. However, an exception for the BML are some of the Bedford services which go throughout the night, mostly to/from Three Bridges as well as Brighton. Out of interest, these late-night services don't go via London Bridge to/from the TL Core, but instead route via Streatham Common and Elephant & Castle.
However the AP version has two extra liveries, two extra classes of train and the FLU 700s. You can do much more with it.
You are correct. I forgot it has the 707 and 717 for AI. Even though there are mods that make drivable
