Not sure what your comment has to do with my comment or what the Cloud pack has to do with a TSW timetable feature.
My post was purely about looks, not gameplay features.
FYI you also cannot play capture the flag or Team deathmatch either with the Cloud enhancement pack ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Definitely not in my case, I probably spend 100hrs a year driving and 2000hrs a year making stuff to look nice, so if I can make the surrounding areas look nice as well, then I'm happy with that.

Question, if I put the 2.0 weather pack on most of my routes by the spring, summer, autumn, winter folder, if I buy the cloud pack would it update all or do I have to do it manually?

I don't think you would need to update anything. If you have SWEP 2.0 installed for that route, you're good to go I think.

Will say it here as well. Cloud pack is a stunning piece of work. The combined price for SWEP and Clouds is absolutely worth it for me! I can already now say that it has transformed and elevated the feel of TSC for me.

Is it me or has the shaders in the latest SWEP update been even more improved?

I’ll be honest at first I was very hesitant to after reading and seeing what was actually done I gave it a go. I’m glad I did. It looks fantastic. I tried so far on a few routes to see the different clouds and just looks great.will try to post pictures later

For dusk and dawn, the clouds can still look problematic. You have to choose your cloud type carefully for those times. Here I used fair Cloud type F6, and it works really well with dawn/dusk. There are quite a few that work well. You need to chose ones with soft, feathered edges, and not well defined edges.

I just had a quick drive with the lovely random skies of the cloud pack, and add to that the SWEP trigger with a command line that MIGHT give you anything from a light shower to a heavy thunder shower. Or nothing at all. (I got a light shower just after Innsbruck.)

And ofcourse my random red signalisation.

Any simulator comes alive with randomisation.

I think i should do a tutorial on how to get random showers working in quick drive.

Getting random showers in a quick drive.

I made this little tutorial. There is a video and a "how to" in the description of the video.

And how it works in real life quick drive gameplay. Scroll 35 minutes in and watch 10 minutes from there.

Yup, this was telegraphed as a likely release some time ago when GU Studios noted they were working on something in the category. I thought GU was looking at the 318 though?

Hopefully it'll be included in the pack, as that was the impression Gü gave when they first announced it....

The 318s were basically three-car 317s with a potty in one of the end carriages, AFAIK

Think it has always been obvious another 317 pack was coming giving AP have always sold the current 317 pack as Volume 1

Doesn't mean anything. After all, DTG always labelled DLC as "Pack01" even if there was no other pack planned. It was a precaution just in case. Though in the Class 317 pack's instance, indeed it always said Volume 1, and GU had mentioned working on something well over a year or two ago now, so we knew it was inevitable anyway that a second pack would be coming.

You are wrong no pack has been named Volume 1 with no further pack. Also what has DTG got to do about a discussion about AP products ???????
GU were vocal about a further pack appering at a later stage that has ALWAYS been known.

If you read what Cyclone said
It was a comparison between DTG and AP they way packs are numbered

and like i said to him what has DTG got to do with AP and how they name products. He is doing his usual rather than realising he mentions another developer that has got nothing to do with the subject request.

390001 Will you just please stop this continued picking fights with anything Cyclone posts attitude.
He is entitled to post his opinion without you jumping down his neck at every opportunity.
You have been pulled up on multiple occasions over this same issue and just do not seem to grasp the concept of taking your petty personal grievance fight with Cyclone away from these threads, and leave the thread just for Armstrong Powerhouse WIP.
I personally am getting sick and tired of your continued bickering on this thread.
You obviously have a major issue with Cyclone, may I suggest you take it private, sort out your problems and leave the rest of us to discuss AP WIP Thank You.
Please do not respond to this post and derail the thread yet again.
If you have any issues with my post feel free to PM

I think people need to make use of the "Ignore" button available on peoples Profiles. Will help avoid this sort of stuff being seen.

A reminder, folks, to not jump down each others' throats. We all want to have a positive and engaging discussion, and this is often not possible when petty squabbles break out. If you have a grievance against another player, your best bet is to either ignore their posts, or resolve the matter privately and respectfully.

As a side note, just because someone mentions another developer doesn't mean to say it's not relevant to the wider discussion. The comparison in the context of the discussion is very valid.

Surprising all the one liveries this pack comes with but all 6 scenarios are for the London - Peterborough route.

Not that surprising really, I don't think ONE 317s had any booked work up the GEML (assuming that was what you meant?) You'd be limited to the odd Ilford-Liverpool Street ECS move for it to be prototypical, unless someone feels its worth making a scenario just for the Bethnal Green-Liverpool St section

Thats the normal for AP when they release a train pack. Give it a day or so and the magic scenario creators will have ATS jumping with scenarios as well lol

Given the nature of that FB group, I doubt they restrict themselves to measured objective comment.

So in what way does that make them different than Alan Thomson Sim? (OK, I guess the lack of objectiveness goes the opposite way in the two groups, but still)

You might already own some of the DLC required
Most scenarios are for London to Peterborough
Depends on if you use common sense and change out stuff you don't have for things you do.
