When running in timetable mode, I will often reach the destination, but when I change ends, the train does not move. What is the correct procedure in game for shutting down the cab and starting at the other end? This is not shown in the tutorial.
In the cab you leave, make sure it’s in neutral (the reverser) and the throttle handle is in full service not emergency and remove the master key not much else should be needed. don’t forget to switch headlights to taillights you can do other things like turn of some of the safety systems for that cab if you wish but shouldn’t be necessary.
isn't there an off option like there is in the Javelin and the 465? i think neutral is just for the main setup progress and then forwards or backwards for the driving direction?
no neutral acts as the off in the case of the 700 the master key removal will act as a full shut off instead
Don't have the DLC so I thought since it was another british train I thought it was the same again but thanks for correcting me
For a driving simulator, tsw offers a lot beside that, like isolating systems MU working and assistance procedures. Its a bit "Ductape" since the nessecary pipes are not connected and the traction isolation isnt modeled in detailed. But actually you can do a lot like even hauling the 700. Without connected rescue pipe it would just last to clear the mainline with 10mph. Only the class 66 was pulling, all other locomotives with battery BIS on, same for the 700.
