I would love the Elizebeth Line on the game with The class 345! I think it would be a nice 50 minute drive from Heathrow To Shenfield and then Reading to then Abbey Wood DEPOTS: Ilford, Maidenhead and Old Oak Common REFURBISHED and it would be nice to see some of the HS2 Work. Although they would probably have to update the Great Western Express 1. For the depots 2. For when the Elizabeth Line emerges to the sun light.

Love the idea! Something which I think most people would want on TSW3, seen as it has proven extremely popular since its release, and still remains my favorite tube line after I've gotten over the fact that it's new. Unfortunately, I think that the main problem I can see here is that there are too many stations, and so I think what would be better would be to modernize the stations on the Paddington-Reading section seeing as they are already in the game on the GWR route. You would then need to add an extension down to Heathrow and introduce the Elizabeth line rolling stock. Other than that I can see this as something which DTG might be willing to go with in the future. Thanks, SJ
Reading to Abbey Wood is only 27 stations, it may reach near 40+ miles, but BML is 52 miles roughly with 28 stations so I can't see a problem adding the Elizabeth Line to TSW3 but it will mean a total rebuild of GWR using newer stock like class 378, 800 which I would buy and maybe extend it to Didcot Parkway or Oxford
Do you think Dovetail has the graphic technology to create the stations? They would have to program the train doors to open along with the platform doors simultaneously.
Ah yes but if Reading to Abbey wood was added into the sim then that would mean only 9 new stations (aside from upgrading the stations between Paddington and Reading). Surely people would want it less if they knew they were only gettin 9 new stations, which would mean that they would have to add either the line to Shenfield/ Heathrow.
True I'm just thinking of the total length as GWR is 34 miles from London Paddington to Reading adding the Elizabeth Line would make it 105 miles approximately.as I've said before it's not the distance in miles it's the amount of stations which could cause issues. Kassel to Worsburg is 115 miles but only 5 to 6 stations. Also Heathrow branch is difficult gue to licensing issues
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the core section ATO? It would be interesting to see if DTG were to do this route with an added in ATO option.
Heathrow branch is a license issue as railway & station is owned by the airport, as I understand it. Re the ATO, yes the underground section through central London is indeed ATO.
It would duplicate the already existing GWML, the tunnel section is ATO and essentially just another start/stop push to go fest.
If they make the Elizabeth Line they should have a scenario where disruption causes the train to be cancelled somewhere between Iver and Ealing Broadway and you have to make your way to Slough by bus, as has happened to me three times in the last month...
So it’s hard to get the licences for the Heathrow Branch? But then also DTG need to get some TfL Licences BUT… It would be very cool to drive some more London Rush Hour And I would challenge my self and would do it without the ATO.
Excellent idea overall but the core section is ETCS overlaid on CBTC like Thameslink core. There can be a scenario where you must run the train through the core under manual mode. I based it on TSC Glasgow Subway where you must drive the train in manual mode in one scenario
