It's been quiet here about the next update/patch/fix. The last blurb was maybe in 3 days. Come and gone and we are well into July. I have manually applied third party and TSC user supplied patches but what else is in the works and a timeline. Still a few anomalies lurking out there.
I think that's a "No" then. A few days means something different in France? I thought Manana was Spanish.
To be fair to DTG they're probably working on their annual big release for TSC which is likely to come after the TSW big annual release in September. Far more likely they're looking to implement a long list of issues in time for that.
I do try to be positive. The good people of DTG need TSC and TSW to be commercial successes, their jobs depend on it. They have new owners who will also be pushing Dovetail to gain more market share for TSW in particular. So I think the time is right for something that takes both titles to another level and that big releases are on the way. I hope it's finally a UK route that provides significantly more immersion and operational variety than any of their releases to date.
Using your logic, it would behoove DTG to issue prompt repairs to the game. Looking at Steam DB, TSC took a huge hit after the botched first update and has not fully recovered. One would think that this would be a priority and at least post some information on progress made and an approximate timeline, instead of a "in about 3 days" then quiet. I think Mark Twain said it best "Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection."- Mark Twain This has been going on since the end of April and we are now in mid July. At what point does defending DTG become superfluous?
