Ok so, it has been 3 months ever since that Just trains will be bringing out a new route to TSW3 as a first appearance. It says that it’s been in Development ever since May this year what is more than one month what could be like 2 months away but less than three months, but it hasn’t yet been announced so there no chance it can be released before the third month. It has to be ready before the roadmap it’s due to be announced on. Unless on a months roadmap any time it’s says in development, does that mean that it’s at the start before the releasing. So they have 10 miles to go so it should be due to be announced soon when it releases on the second month before the third one arrives. Anyways!! That’s Enough begging! Seem as they gave us more info of there planning they showed us what it could be look like. I discovered one of there picture of a single line, could this be another sign on Preston to Blackpool, this one seems like Blackpool south line by the looks of it. This picture shows the line next to a road bridge and the very further part of the track seems to loop. I’m thinking it could be that one between Kirkham and Moss side. What do you think??. I mean this involves Diesel mechanical units and Diesel electric what are running on this line for 48 miles. 48 miles is a lot so it can’t just be on whole line only we’ve got that first one that they showed us back in June with 2 lines. Some people thought it was somewhere between Preston and Kirkham which can be Preston to Blackpool North. Main leak!
Interesting when it goes to the coupler picture, but isn’t it supposed to be a diesel mechanical unit? Where it switches gears to go faster.
It's Coote Lane Bridge on the Preston Ormskirk line. The location is pretty much a dead cert and the route is almost definitely Ormskirk to Blackpool North and South via Preston. The clues have been obvious. The train is the 142 Class Pacer. There's a one or two people suggesting otherwise but the evidence is very strong. Probably more news in the next roadmap.
It has two bridges one for the line to Blackburn which is double track and one for Ormskirk which is single track and looking at the TSW shots is showing the debris of lifted track alongside the active single line.
Sorry I’m thinking of the one that heads to Colne Sorry, you actually gave me a point there, the picture with the single line what just trains showed us on the roadmap could actually be the Ormskirk junction next to the Colne one. As you can see the track is curving right at the back of the bridge, and all the trees next to the tracks didn’t exist back in 1980s, so it actually be a good sign to see Blackpool South, Preston, Colne and Ormskirk.
If you didn’t know what I meant by ‘trees next to the tracks didn’t exist back in the 1980s’ as you can see I taken a picture of what the picture from Just trains might be in the 1980s. But the one from me off google earth is the one in modern day so something has changed through time.
So now that I took another picture of what it could be. We’re starting to get a bit of a curve at the top end, unlike the other one the top end didn’t have a curve for another 600yds away. But the tracks seem to be straight at the bottom end .
The Pacers were diesel-mechanical under BR. They were converted to diesel-hydraulic post-privatisation.
Another screenshot on the BR logo what just trains sent us on the roadmap. As you can see there’s a grey square on the top left and a line at the bottom.
Just the point you started a new thread when there is one already running and we really don’t need to dilute the speculation any further.
