Heya, just want to ask a quick question - can you have boh version of the weather AP installed at the same time? I want to upgrade to 2.0 but I'm worried I won't be able to use old scenarios using the original. Thanks.
No, when you install 2.0 it uninstalls V1. To be fair, the amount of times my sky has malfunctioned when running scenarios that use the V1 pack is very small. You can always edit the scenario to change the weather very quickly.
Inbuilt editor. Here are the instructions on how to set a basic weather pattern taken from the AP manual. They explain it better than I could: There is a slight caveat to if you want to use Haze and it's significantly more complicated to set up dynamic weather, other than the few that are listed in the dropdown, but the above should get you started.
I know this technically counts as necroposting but could you just awnser one quick question if you know the awnser to it - is this the same for all AP 2.0 packs or just weather? For instance the 175 and probably soon to be pacer? Thought it'd be easier to ask a question directly related a day later then practically the same thread with a slight reskin - if this is serious necroposting though then please do forgive me.
Not necroposting as far as I'm concerned. The last comment was only yesterday. If you mean do all AP 2.0 packs automatically uninstall V1 if you have it installed then my answer would be I believe so but I don't own the 175 or Pacer so can't say for sure I'm afraid. Maybe someone can jump in who owns the 175.
Well no problem - thanks for the help anyway though. Been coming back to tsc after a while and just wanted to understand what's going on with the AP 2.0's that's all. Thanks for your help so far again though and if anyone who has/had both versions of the 175 please do enlighten me.
You don't need one to have the other and if you have both installed you will have the trains from both packs available to use.
