Experience East England and Cambridgshire along the bustling Lines Connecting the city of Cambridge with the port town of Kings Llyn and Bustling Hub of Peterborough in Train Sim World 3 (or 4): Fen Line: Cambridge - Kings Llyn and Peterborough. Hello there! Today I am suggesting the 70 mile (112 (rounded) KM). A little on the longerside however its smaller station count and the fact that only one new train would have to be added and only one new livery for an existing train. The line runs in the East of England and Cambridgeshire acting as a link between the ECML and Cambridgeshire Operated by Great Northern, XC and GA along with EWS freight services. With that out of the Way, Lets get onto the rolling stock: Class 170: The class 170 in Cross Country Livery (liscene depending) Class 387: The class 387 in Great Northern Livery (Both train and Liscence already in TSW - They'd just have to reskin the 387) Class 66: The class 66 in EWS livery (Train in 4 routes - Can easily be implemented into this route no problem) Layers in: Class 700: Class 700 from Class 700 DLC - While only the 8 car can still be used for AI at Cambridge and Peterborough to make the stations more Busy. Class 66 RHTT: Class 66 RHTT for swaped services with EWS 66, RHTT services and the odd railtour. Layors Out: Class 170: Class 170 in XC livery for: MML (Across the whole network), BCC for the majority of it and especially to populate New Street. Glossop line - It occasionally replaces Voyagers on services so it adds some flavour to Piccadily and potentially even adds a few services. Senarios: Not-So Great Anymore: A 387 has got stuck on the line near kings llyn causing trafic and you will be driving a class 387 to rescue the train then get it into Ely Sidings for Examination True Turbostar: Due to issues at March this semi fast XC service will not be stopping at any station other then Ely so take this train more or less non stop between Cambridge and Peterborough. Estatic Welcomed Serivce: Take this freight service over from Ely and drive it into Whitemoor Yard. A welcome Change in Scenary: Take this 387 on a usual service betwen Cambridge and Kings Llyn... the thing being this train is actually in Gatwick Express livery being sent to the Line to deal with an incident with another GN 387. Not so Turbo now: Take this 170 between Peterbrough and Cambridge but due to enginerring works the entire leg between Cambride and Ely is under extremely limited speed limits so prepare for trafic and a lot of waiting. Pros: - Adds 2 brand new operators to the game - Adds a new and highly requested train - Has extensive layors in and out for varied services along this route and other routes. - Slightly on the longer side - Less Linear then other routes (technically being two routes in one) Cons: - The non existing operator is notoriously stingy with liscensing and could prove a challenge - Other two trains are already in routes and may make driving slightly boring - Layers can get really pricy - Longer side means its less likely and more work - The two routes could cause lag - especially for older hardware. Overall if liscensing can be solved this would be an amazing route for TSW and overall would be a very fun route to drive. Well Ill see you guys down below - But first - Station List.

Great suggestion, it would be a great route to bring the old Easter Region to TSW, the EMT 158 could be a layer as well.
Excellent suggestion end if you are wondering who made this in train simulator classic Alan Thompson simulations. Should be requested as their first route if they feel like it because they were able to combine this with East Coast Main Line south basically as a branch off it. Bundle might be called TSW3 ATS Adventures Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly/Victoria via Chat Moss and East Coast and Fen Lines London Kings Cross to King's Lynn via Hitchin Cambridge.
It'd be interesting as an Old Eastern route but I would personally rather it modernised for the XC turbostar layers and OHLE however it'd definitely work and be interesting - I do think the south of England needs more backdated routes as do I think the north needs more modern routes.
I don't think that they'd do mergers - it's possible, enfact we know it's possible it's just not ideal and would take a lot of time. An ATS bundle is an interesting idea but unless it comes with TSW3 or 4 I guess It'd be steam only and requires the other routes.
Sorry, I wasn't talking about the era this time, but saying it would be nice to have a route in the geographical area of the old eastern region (which this route is) not during the time when it existed. As I said a great suggestion mate!
don't forget the class 365 and class 317 and 91 could be added and the 91 on diversions and the 365 and 317 being on the slow commute
Good suggestion, the Fen Line would be great to have in TSW but personally, I'd set it when the 365s were still around (2017-2019) before the 387s replaced them, it means it gets a new unit into the game in the form of the Networker Express
365's arent currently operated - same with 317's and 91's and 801's arent really needed for how rare there services are.
