when will it get released then? if tsw4 is going to come out then what will happen to everything on the previous months roadmap, will it all be for tsw4?

 

it's such a shame that there are two Vectrons

the Vectron mod by Folezz, still WIP
and the DTG Vectron, if the leaks are right
I honestly want a vectron in DB livery, if I recall correctly, if DTG actually throws out a Vectron for TSW4, there's going to be an enhancement pack for it (PC players only, sorry console players)
yeah so my expectations for TSW4 are a new ICE and the Vectron
when will time pass faster when we want to?

would it all be built to tsw4 standards do you think? we already have pictures for the new uk route which was posted in some of the roadmaps, it looks good

DTG's TSW4 Vectron is going to have a Railpool Livery, according to the leaks saying RP before Vectron (just gonna assume RP stands for Railpool)
Folezz' Vectron Mod has a DB livery and a SBB Cargo International livery, can be seen here

It also says "BR193" but Railpool also classifies their vectron as the RP Class 193 so hope for an official DB Vectron in TSW is lost for now

So looking at the Epic DB and this was thetrainguy4 YouTube channel that would get the credit for finding this detail that I missed. From the 3 smithfields label 101,102 103, what is interesting is 101 is only available for pre purchase. Smithfield 102 and 103 are available for both pre purchase and regular. What he mentions that this means Smithfield101prepurchase is an extended route of one we currently have in tsw3.

Apparently. But to be honest I’m not sure. It would make sense if something is only available in preorder meaning like last year only the tsw3 launch routes were available to play 4 days before launch.

Decals for liveries editor like in TSW3 prepurchase("DLC 63").

 

They are 82 smithsfields (even though 82 seemed to have been skipped and is label Smithfield83) in the Epic DB but they are 81 DLC's available to purchase. So maybe something might come out before sep26

Don't think we know yet but it's for something US-based from memory of the route code.

 

I'm thinking it's gotta be Horseshoe Curve; probably heritage liveries and a couple scenarios.

Meh. I'm not buying anything until they give us more details on how existing content will be handled in TSW4.

I might give it a watch if they dig Adam out for the stream as I do miss him and Sams old streams!

It doesn't seem as if it will be ready for release before the big event... In the July Roadmap they still had a number of miles to place scenery on then had to test the rolling stock etc., presumably write the timetable and scenarios. My call would be October unless they spring a surprise release but I doubt DTG would want it coming out before then.

 

really looking foward to this route. Yea I will say it will probably come out the following week after NYT new timetable comes out sometime in late October

 

I probably won't get the last DLC aka the skyhook US livery pack because there's no point buying reskins when number 1 people on the Train Sim community make those types of liveries and number 2 you can get then on Creators Club.

 

Same thing that happened to TSW 3 last year.

TSW 4 will get all the updates first and TSW 3 will have to wait until later.

That was a suggestion I saw somewhere else here, and it makes sense for DTG to rerelease and upgrade a popular route at the same time. Still speculation though, of course.

 

With SEHS extended last year, we know DTG are capable of extending and revamping past routes. If DTG were to do that again this year, here are what I think the primary candidates for a revamp and extension are:

• LIRR - The timetable is horrible and DTG know this.
• GWE - Would be nice to have it go to Oxford or Swindon, but very unlikely since it's quite old by TSW standards (2017) and a lot has changed about the route in real life since then.
• TGV - An extension to Lyon. More plausible than you might think since DTG did extend the route in TSC to Lyon and the TGV route is among the most played TSW route ever. (Not to mention the fact that DTG are owned by a French company now)
• DRA - A very popular route and DTG did have the TSC version go all the way to Leipzig. Also, we know DTG originally intended on including the parallel lines and the airport S-bahn line when Rush Hour was first announced.

 

Pretty much all the private freight companies, plus OBB (Austrian Federal Railway), CD (Czech Rail) and DSB (Danish State Railway) - any of which can be seen in Germany

 

I think Matt has ruled out GWE having any work done on it for the foreseeable future, one of the reasons being the one you stated (although I think it looks great by today's standards but I'm still on TSW2 :P).

I have also read somewhere that DTG have lost the GWR license, although I'm not sure that's true - could someone please confirm? Many thanks!

 

The speculation on losing the gwr license was that rivet were going to do gwr for west cornwall but weren't able to get permission for it, so it was changed to the regional railways livery instead

 

nice weekend. finished all my M3A playable services on Harlem line on PC, Played some BML, ATS TSC Peterborough/Cambridge route.

 

I saw a rumour Youtube video yesterday about the UK route. Can't remember the name of the route that was predicted but it was the one most mentioned on the forums. It looked very promising but both parts of the route he suggested had a lot of new rolling stock. You think DTG would add all the rolling stock or is this like these topics where people complain that model x and model y was not included? I never know what actually is being used on these routes in real life so I don't know if this YouTuber is a bit too excited or spot on?

If what was shown on the video is actually the TSW4 route I would preorder (both versions of that route).

I thought this video was already circulating in the community. Don't want to get hopes up too high but to me it looked like a day one pre order if everything that is mentioned is present.

He is about as reliable as what's been read on here, and should perhaps do a bit more research before his videos. Also can I just say I spat my tea out and couldn't hold my laughter when he said Ely!

 

I don't know the UK so for me it sounded to make a lot of sense. Not all that outlandish but yes there were too many trains involved in this offering to be true
