Train Sim World 3 (ps4) City Express Scenario - Train Does Not Move And Traction Lock Is Applied When Doors Are Closed

In the scenario “City Express”, when I shut the doors, traction lock is still applied for some reason which I have no clue why it is still applied and I cannot move the train and proceed to Leipzig-Connewitz.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

 

Are you driving the Dostos Cab Car ?

If so : try to move the throttle lever into power position and then take it back to the zero position. Some Dostos do this eventually (some others don't) could be this easy problem.

If not than you can try to close the electric circuit (MCB) after you raised the pantograph. Maybe this will help.

 

The cab car that comes with the 182 DLC for RT hasn't been working in TSW3 since day 1. It's been reported numerous times. It's one of the bigger issues for me and it's been gnawing away at the trust for DTG for 4ish months now.

 

I wasn't aware. But also... im absolutely not surprised.

I mean is it that hard to bringing all the Dosto Cab Cars to one standard (as they are mostly the same anyway) ?

 

I am driving the DABPbzfa 767.2 (Rapid Transit). I did the throttle tactic multiple times and the traction lock was still on. I opened and closed the MCB and the traction lock was still applied, making this scenario impossible to complete in Train Sim World 3.

 

You won't be able to complete any services or scenarios for rt using the dosto.

 

They are very different from each other, especially the most modern one and the very first one. Every dlc is treated like its own game and can't really have only 1 version otherwise the dlc wouldn't work. Complicated issue for dtg

 

What i was refering to was that they are mostly the same irl. They are all the Gen4 Dostos, maybe one have the space for bicycles and the other has not.

And yes its complicated because DTG did it overly complicated. Just One or two Versions with different liveries would do the job just fine. Instead we are faced with several 'different' versions that act differently when there is no real need for it.

 

Still doesn't work. Does anyone have a workaround?

 

This has not been fixed. Top of list but not fixed yet. Workaround is to use another dosto
