I've finally completed all of the Scenarios on this Route, but when I did the last Scenario (German Name) Würzwinter I was presented with an eighth Scenario. Spoiler: Scenario Spoiler It is a Scenario with the DB BR 185 where you have to put together a set of Dostos I was able to complete the Scenario with no Problem, the only Bug I found is that the BR185's AFB doesn't work when you drive in reverse. I have to say that it was definitely more Fun than racing down the entire Route on the ICE train thousands of times Why did DTG decide not to officially release this Scenario? What do you think? I marked this as Xbox because I don't know if it will work on other platforms too.
Probably because it was using rolling stock we cannot use because they are ai only. The dostos, 146 and 442 are ai only in the route so that's probably why it was removed
I still find it Strange because you don't drive any of these Vehicles, you just push and pull them and the Scenario works fine.
I believe some leaks a while back showed that the connection to the Main Spessart Bahn was originally planned to be included, along with the corresponding ICE and regional services. In that case, the regional trains would have been available in service mode, along with corresponding tutorials. When the MSB connection was removed, these locos were likely degraded to AI traffic, and they couldn’t justify keeping (or developing) dedicated tutorials for locos that would only have been available in one shunting scenario. They probably kept it as a secret scenario for experienced players, but removed it from the menus because new players would have been unable to handle the trains without tutorials. This is obviously pure speculation, other possibility is that one of the developers just decided to have a bit of fun with the AI locos and allow players to drive them.
In this Scenario, you only drive the DB BR 185, and this Train has a Tutorial, so it has nothing to do with Tutorials. The Dostos are only pushed
Interestingly, this scenario showed up one day on the official scenario list for me! I was pleasantly surprised to see I could play it without having to do the Würz Winter trick and all. Maybe it's just a PS5 thing.
I checked again after Krazy's comment, but this Scenario is not displayed for me (Series S), only the 7 normal Scenario and the 3 Scenario from the Dispolok 182
Thats odd. Dont really see a reason why it would show up on PS but not Xbox. Who knows what the reason is (if there is any)
