and uhh these are? I have zero idea litterally ANYTHING about indian railways and this just makes me more confused. What is a popular route? What is a indian railways train? Please give station lists, rolling stock, photos, background information and preferably cons/pros, scenarios and other things like that.
This is why OP's in this section need to be moderated! Make a commercial case for a particular route or loco. Consider whether DTG can get licencing or it is practical for them to visit and research with full co-operation of the infrastructure and train operators. Is there actually a big enough Indian market to justify diverting time and resources from other more lucrative projects, particularly given those who actually pay for their software in India are probably buying at a lower regional price than elsewhere and sales outside the sub-continent might not subsidise this. Apply DTG's "LAMP" benchmarks to your proposal.
Hey Ketan ! IR is not coming anytime soon. Licensing would be a nightmare for DTG. TSW doesn't support the amount of NPCs, assets & foliage to represent the scene here. Lack of reference material Marketing would be a challenge
Why? If he wants to suggest a particular country, that's good enough for me. I'd like to see an Indian route, would love the change of scenery, but I have no knowledge about the Indian Railways. That doesn't mean there isn't a demand for Indian routes. This suggestion points out exactly that; there's people wishing for Indian Railways without wishing for a specific route.
Well it certainly doesn't fit with the LAMP process and all it demonstrates to me is an ill thought out bleat rather than a structured and reasoned presentation. Otherwise I'll start a few posts with... I wanna route from Sweden. I wanna route from Yugoslavia. I wanna route from Russia. It's about as vague as it gets...
So what do you suggest he does? He wants something from India, doesn't care which route specifically. Apparently he's not welcome in the suggestions forum because his suggestion isn't specific enough. So where does he go to let his wish be known?
