Ah right, I think I see what I’m doing wrong. I’m putting 7001 not 7O01. That explains why I couldn’t find 1&2 when I’d already downloaded them, I’m so stupid Thank you bud
I must say your mods do look very interesting and I am going to set aside a day when I am off just to play some of them. When that day will be I have no idea yet, but it will happen!
Not from what I have heard mate no, though if you put it on the feedback thread or something there may be a more useful response.
That's the special scenario out, will it be better than matt#4801's scenario or not? Below are the CC links, required liveries and the DLC requirements for said scenario Scenario Links: Desiro City Special: Creators Club - (700SP) 7. Desiro City Special Any required liveries: James' Thamespink 700: Creators Club - ThamesPink Cl. 700 My Southern Metro 377/7 liveried 387: Creators Club - (TG08) Southern 'Metro' 377/7 (387) Requirements: Desiro City Special: Class 700, London Commuter, Great Western Express
700 Sighs at Once. After a week of decoding the LBN scenario planner my 3rd class 700 scenarios is finally here. This run in another unit from Brighton to East Croydon will be the last on this eventful day! Due to the fallen tree being cleared and the stricken unit moved off the main lines you can run the proper way with, hopefully, no further delay. Though saying that the preceding unit had a 10 MPH speed restriction from Brighton to Preston Park, whereas you have an Emergency speed restriction of 30 mph to adhere to for the first mile or so from Brighton to Preston Park so you may, or may not catch him up. I wouldn't usually do this but to get the best experience out of this scenario I would highly advise using the below departure times: Brighton: 19:31 Preston Park: 19:35 Hassocks: 19:42.30 Burgess Hill: 19:46.30 Haywards Heath: 19:53 Gatwick Airport: 20:06 East Croydon (arrive by) 20:19 Personally using these times pushes it up an extra couple of bars so like I say highly advise it. The scenario should take about 50 minutes and requires NO custom liveries. The required dlc is: East Coastway Brighton Mainline Great Western Express South Eastern High Speed BR Class 700 BR ROG Class 37 (though it WILL work without this) Here is the Creators Club link. And here are my screenshots: As always I hope you enjoy and I hope it at least gives TrainGeek08 a run for his money!
Wow, I’ve just done both scenarios and it’s obvious to me that there is only one clear winner, and that’s……………… The Forum members, who will be playing two very impressive scenarios made by you two guys. I really can’t chose who is best, the quality is amazing and you both should be extremely pleased with your creations. It’s going to have to be a recommendation for TG and you Matt. I know a draw would be disappointing, but on the flip side…….any chance of a re-match lol PS I think I’ve cracked the big announcement on the 22nd August. DTG Direct are going to unveil you two as the new route creators for all future DLC.
Added, and thanks mate glad you enjoyed mine as much as TG's which I enjoyed very much too! Who knows what the future may hold! Ssssshhhhhhhh, you can't tell anyone! What I will say is that future routes will only be in the Eastern Region and Scotland!
Secret safe with me buddy, I won’t tell anyone. And if anyone is reading this before 22nd, keep it on the down low
Glad you enjoyed it, I think a draw is fair as me and Matt have done the best we can to make some rather impressive scenarios for everyone to enjoy Imagine if that was the case (it probably isn't I'm afraid ), but if it was that would be fantastic but as Matt says it will be only Eastern and Scottish routes until we clear them all
Clear all the routes in all the decades and all the rolling stock that ran on them since they opened. Also including all of the shut lines too.
Just played it and it's a good one mate, I do have some feedback and I'll pit my departure times against your preset ones too Arrival Time Comparison: (1 min before departure time for reference) Brighton: N/A Preston Park: OT Hassocks: +1 Burgess Hill: +1 Haywards Heath: OT Gatwick Airport: -3 East Croydon: OT Departure Time Comparison: Brighton: OT Preston Park: OT Hassocks: +1 Burgess Hill: +1 Haywards Heath: OT Gatwick Airport: OT East Croydon: N/A Feedback on the scenario: Fairly good mate, really liked the transition from a sunset to dusk and the different AI in the scenario but not all was good I'm afraid... I found that most of the Class 377's used were from East Coastway (with old sounds) and not from Brighton Mainline (with AP sounds), but I found a couple were BML 377's so I don't know what is going on there? Other than that, great scenario mate, however I do still think mine is better than yours despite your best efforts
No idea how to tell the difference when selecting them so I just tried to keep the same ones for the 12 car and same for the 8 car, though as they are just passing the sound isn't a problem really anyway, unless you happen to be in fly by. Thanks, I think considering this isn't my specialisation I have done a fairly good job and glad you agree! May I add your recommendation? Not saying we will but IF we do anything like this again the theme has got to be diesels!
I think the BML 377s are slightly longer in length than the ECW ones so that should make it easier to identify for next time Definitely, I recommend this scenario Yes, that's IF something like this happens again I'll be happy to compete against you but in diesels
That's strange, but handy, thanks. Thank you muchly! I'll be on my home ground then! I am sure something could be arranged at some point in the next decade maybe!
What’s all this “if” nonsense, I’ve got the perfect idea for the rematch ! Depending on TSW4 or a new Rush Hour, we choose one of the new routes, providing there is a uk one in there, and we use that route for the scenario running blue diesel ? I know, I know, I’m a genius…what can I say, it just comes to me easy I suppose lol You could say it was a piece of cake Thoughts ?
I wonder what brought that on! I have already got plans for the JT route and now even planning for this, and we have no idea what that ones is yet. Sorry I mean TG and myself can't tell you yet!
Honestly! It’s a good job you are both good at scenario creation, because keeping a secret….way too complicated for you pair. I was onto you from the start. Now get back to what your good at, sorry, great at- creating scenarios Lucky for you I haven’t told anyone that I know, so all good
Thanks mate, though DTG staff (cough JD cough) don't seem much better! I will and currently getting my scenario for Wednesday ready to roll. On another new route to me as well...
