Version 1.06 is finally released:
After long fight and never ending fixing bugs and resimulation the final version of 1.06 is here It got 20 more services since last 1.06b. Livery editor for Class700 FLU is not working yet, same journey mode is not really updated with new services and it is still missing thumbnails. But important is that TT is fully simulated and it include a lot of night services now too. I have to rework some parts to make them better and i make the timetable more ready for 24 loop version... it require still some fixes but its not that bad like before

Version 1.06b is released to public
- i decided to release that private beta version to public because final version 1.06 is crashing simulation without any reason. It will take longer time to fix that and you were already waiting long time for new version. Im not happy about that but thats how it is. Fixing 1.06 can take days, weeks... who knows... while you are will be waiting for it you can at least enjoy that beta which is just missing some new Three Bridges services and new added Brighton services which they were added after the beta release.
This beta is only for TSW 4, it was private only and wasnt fixed for TSW 3 too.

What is new?
- removed 1Z services, they not suppose to be there
- fixed 9J and 9R stops
- fixed 9R pathing the way to Gatwick Airport
- fixed GWR pathing from Gatwick Airport

- added another service from Three Bridges Depot

Changes v1.051:

• fixed support for TSW 3 too, so now its working in both simulators again
• fixed PIS for services going to Gatwick
• fixed ghost drivers for player trains, now drivers are back at work
• fixed skipped station for 9R services going from Gatwick
• fixed platform for service 48 and 50, now they should not block the path

Finally the version 1.05 is here. And what is new ?
- include more then 300 new services
- include Raildriver profile for that FLU version (for changing settings you need to first load the route so addon manager load all needed files and then you can go to the control settings and change Raildriver setting)
- still missing some night services which i will add once i got timetable for them so version 1.06 will come for sure

Version 1.04 is released:
- completely re-simulated timetable with Class700 services which i added before
- support new TSW 4 and old TSW 3!!
- include extra chapter in Journey mode
- for proper working (there is one station after the Out of bounds trigger and after invisible wall so you will need those 2 mods for TSW 4 (for TSW 3 you should already have them)

This is just small update for PIS boards. If its OK for you that you got: formed of 0 coaches ... then you dont need that update. This is just gonna show correct number of coaches on PIS boards. So after Class 700 release i looked on UK route London Brighton (BML) what i can do with the Class 700 there. TSC community shared with me timetable for Class 700 on that route and here is the first result. So far it include couple of AI services, some of the short player journeys and one long journey. The rest of the long trips i will add with next update. Important to know is that this is not timetable which is replacing some existing services with Class 700. This timetable is adding 13 new services (counting AI + players).

Wow, incredible stuff, in theory anyway as I'm yet to try it. Will be interesting to see how many people actually run into issues (on PC alone), and see how accurate DTG's conclusion was.

 

Just ran service 9N87, which cuts off the Brighton line, to head west to a station that Thameslink services there. The final stop for us was Hove but got the white screen when you run off the know world before Hove so the service is not able to complete so need to end at the station prior to Hove. Also this service does not stop at Gatwick, but I was stopped and had to wait for a Southern service on platform 7 headed to Brighton to leave. Then, I followed him the rest of the way which made me later and later since I keep hitting his yellows and reds. Good ervice and you can see how the timetable can be worked to include these Thameslink services. It even, this way, allows the stop at Three Bridges. Keep updating this so we can see when or if the system will bog down.

 

I didn't even know it was possible to modify the timetable. How do you do it?

 

Thanks for comment, i will check that Hove. About that Gatwick stop, its not set like you suppose to stop but the train on platform 7 got probably higher priority set, i have to check that too. Im very limited with fitting those services into the timetable as i have to fit between timed services. I cant make any other timed services delayed during my timing. I will remove gatwick time to see if the service will continue without stopping as now i set the time when you suppose pass the station.

I don’t have the 700 so I can’t test this, but I’m interested to hear the experiences of others - partly because (although I’ve no interest in driving it) I might be tempted to get the 700 to create more AI traffic on the Brighton line, but also because the possibility that a modder can successfully add completely new services to the timetable is intriguing. I didn’t know it was possible, and it would seem to throw up all kinds of exciting possibilities.

To avoid taking this thread off topic, I’ve created a separate thread for people’s suggestions for other timetable additions, just in case a modder chooses to do so and would value suggestions (and even if not, it’s an interesting discussion!)

Spoke too soon, stuck at Gatwick behind a red signal. Been sat here for about 4 minutes now, no chance of making Three Bridges on time:

Actually, I did this one and what you are waiting for is those 2 trains to your left to depart. If you look over at track 7 that Southern service has a green. This puts you way behind and is due, I think, to the AI dispatcher which can be a bit 'dumb'.

 

I was there before both the trains on my left is the issue lol.

 

Ah, but even in reality train service regulation is not ‘first come first served’. There are many reasons why a Signaller may choose to hold your train and put another train in front. I’ll be interested to hear how the run went from there.

 

Problem in Gatwick i cant solve without resimulating the whole timetable so you have to wait there until one service pass. I can set higher priority to the Class700 services then dispatcher will let them first but it can have bad results on some other parts which are busy (higher priority is not set only for one station but for the whole service) because all other services are timed and when you choose different start time they will spawn in their positions. If i delay any timed trains then they will spawn ower your formation for example and that will make game crash. So my goal was to fit those services there without delaying other trains.

 

Let’s hope to see this soon when DTG will optimize BML

 

Just started service 9N86. Was great to be at Hove, even if there is nothing there at the moment. Having these Thames Link services slotted into Joe's great LBM timetable is amazing. Have to admit did not finish secondary to my mistiming my stop at Three Bridges, but will go back and redo it. This one is held up a bit by a Southern service that is ahead of the player. Want to add, the timing bar for loading passengers on the HuD is working as are the doors.

 

Great Mod really adds alot to the awesome timetable.

Excellent work as always trainsimcz I ran the 9N86 earlier on and enjoyed it immensivly from the viewpoint of a larger window on the 700 Im guessing one of the reasons DTG are reluctant to put the 700 officially on the BML timetable is them having to develop the Hove area

 

Again another mod proving DTG wrong same as the BML rush hour passengers mod. Cice to see the 700 layer working well to a certain point which is what is possible without the official tools.

Hope to see the timetable to continue to grow to what is possible. Would love to see some static stock along the route were appropriate but that may be a different challenge.

I've long since stopped believing in anything DTG tell us what's possible and what's not as mods have proved otherwise over the years, especially trainsimcz

 

A lot of fun, although, yes, you do have to resign yourself to running 8 minutes late after the long red at Gatwick.

 

You could simply reset the scheduled arrival times from 3 Bridges onward.

 

I just did 9N86 through to Gatwick and wanted to ask about the first couple of go via points between Clapham and Gatwick which seem to say to wait till a certain time once you trigger them? Are these meant to be station stops?

 

Well in timetable which i got there was information what time the train suppose pass the station so if you are faster then you need to stop here or slow down before the station. You can see the pass time on top left side of your screen. Its not race if you can be faster on next destination, there is some rules and that suppose to be bussy route. Im working now on 9J and 9R services... they suppose to have 30 mins pattern.

I've been pushed into buying the SEHS enhancement bundle with the class 700 mainly so I could try out the timetable mod and I'm impressed.
Dare I ask, could the project eventually include constructing the station at Hove?

 

Me thinks that construction like this is far beyond moders.

 

As i dont have time to create 3D model i cant do it... but of course modders can add that train station, we just need that 3D model of it

 

Just want to post small update as im still working on that timetable adding more services will see if dispatcher can handle all that work
So here is some information what i have done:

So far new timetable include around 50 new services for BML (but its not final number... still missing half of the day to add - so it will be over 1500 for sure)

Thank you for finishing DTGs job of putting the 700 on BML, it might not be the FLU but at least it's something

 

What do you use to edit the timetable? I'd really love to mess around with trying to add services to Spirit of Steam and Peak Forest.

 

Is it possible to do three bridges ECS moves E.G Three Bridges to Gatwick or Brighton.
Or have AI in the depot

Ok guys, i taked that file down. It got so many mistakes. Dont know what happened, but it looks like that timing data got messed up. It was all working perfect during my testing time where i have couple of layers standalone. For the release i add everything into one file and it looks like that it got broken. Im going to find the mistakes and fix them. This will mean that you will have to wait little bit longer

I’ve bumped this thread now we have the Official Editor because I’m wondering how feasible it is to override the invisible walls and the out of bounds markers in some route locations, as trainsimcz has done above.
It would sometimes be nice to add a bit more scenery and allow play up to the absolute limits of a route.

 

So after long waiting new fixed version of the BML timetable is finally here
Its completely resimulated, all services should work without any problems. It include even extra Journey mode chapter with class 700.
And whats the best part. .... it support TSW 3 and TSW 4!!!

Thanks for this trainsimcz, just a couple of minor things I noticed. You've spelt Thameslink as Themeslink and although the station PIS shows the Horsham services, the Peterborough services are blank, just shows the calling points and not the destination.

The 700 Peterborough service PIS displays something like 'Check Station Screens' .

Apart from those minor points, all seems to be working fine.

So i fixed Thameslink, i fixed Peterborough... now im waiting for more services to be added and then i will release the fix. Reason i will not release it now is because just that stupid Thameslink change require again resimulate the whole timetable which is another 3 hours... so before i resimulate i would like to add new services there.

This also appears to happen for bedford services. Also, shouldn't the 9Jxx services be on the 700/1 instead of the 700/0.

Hello! I have extracted the .pak file as the readme file said, and i can't seem to get the timetable in the game.

I have Brighton Mainline and the Class 700/0 too.

I've tried everything. Can you help?

 

You don't extract the .pak file, you just put it in the same folder as the rest of your DLC.

Hi there, i just want to tell you that im still working on updated version... v1.5 which will include more then 300 extra services So far right now i have there almost 250 services extra and all 9R services are still missing. Here is video of one new service... it just failed in the end without no reason as in editor all was working fine and simulation data were ok... so its hard to find out whats happened, which service got stuck there.. but you can still enjoy the ride of service 9S08:

 

Out of curiosity I am assuming the FLU has 6 MSOs, and thus is a bit more powerful than the unit is in reality?

 

This is such a great mod. It's really nice to have the 700 on BML. v1.5 also sounds fantastic and I'm eagerly awaiting it!
