Br 182 And Dbpbzfa Still Can't Drive From Trailer

I posted about this 6 months ago and it seems the traction lockout will still not disengage from this trailer? I was going to buy some stuff on the steam sale but I am not feeling too good about this product. This driving trailer and engine combination were the main reason I even wanted TSW...

 

Trailer? Is this the DoSto Cab car on the other end of the consist? There should be a tutorial that teaches you all the steps needed to make it work. For example, have you activated the brake key on the right?

 

Assuming this is on Rapid Transit, You’re not doing anything wrong, it’s been broken for months.

JD acknowledged it once and said it would be looked at, but despite my asking on Roadmap Q and A Threads, it doesn’t get any answers.

The only option is to install another DLC that has a Dosto Cab Car and select that.

I think they have quite a nerve to sell this DLC with a significant gameplay issue without any kind of warning.

My own thoughts are that as Rapid Transit isn’t one of the popular DLCs, it’ll never be fixed, but I live in hope as I really like the route.

 

Yes, Rapid Transit. Quite disappointing for me and has kind of soured me on the whole game. I have a model of that engine with dosto cars and would really like to drive it from the cab/trailer/steuerwagen.

 

So how long of a wait before something like this is fixed, or might it never be fixed? Wondering if DTG could make some statement about it?

 

The last update they gave was that it was a high priority but that was months ago

 

This issue along with the 143 on Nahverkehr Dresden and BR 442 Talent 2 DB have been broken AND reported since they were ported over to TSW3 last September when 3 launched! Obviously they're seen as such a high priority at DTG that we're still waiting for them to be fixed almost a year later! Could be worse though, we're at over 2 years for the broken 143 achievement in TSW2 so we know for certain that DTG really aren't that bothered about fixing gamebreaking problems!

 

DTG JD Sorry for the tag, but this is a gameplay issue that has been present since the launch of TSW3. Is it ever going to be fixed? It may not be the most popular route, but some of us like it and it’s still being sold with a significant number of services that can’t be run unless you substitute a loco from another DLC (or drive in reverse from the wrong cab).

I‘ve raised it a few times now in Roadmap Q and A threads but it only got 1 response from you acknowledging the problem would be looked at and nothing since. I‘d really appreciate knowing if there will ever be a fix.

But with today's announcement of TSW 4 these are going to be forgotten about along with all the other bugs and broken achievements!

 

I dislike software that is released so often with new versions but few changes like this, especially when it breaks existing DLC. (EA's FIFA comes to mind as particularly egregious). I don't understand why each version doesn't have longer legs. Backward compatibility with old DLC is great, if it actually works...

 

Actually just saw the announcement... A map editor and ability to add custom trains sounds like a really cool feature, maybe we will see some amazing player made content.

 

This seems to be working fine now in TSW4. Not sure where most of the HUD went though.
