Ashford International @ 3:40AM. February but could be all year.

Didn't see it personally, but saw on the map: a freight service I presume passing through heading south (along HS1, and there was a multiple unit heading north west.

are there only timetable easter eggs on SEH or also on like, german routes? I feel like DTG only prefers british stuff...

It'd be nice to see the 103 popping up on some of the more modern German routes in a similar way - or even the 110. But then some of the earlier German routes need a lot of the newer stock added - Rapid Transit, Main Spessart, RSN, the Ruhr routes and Munich - Augsburg desperately need more - or at least some - IC and ICE services now that these trains are available.

the ICE 1 really is missing on quite some german routes...
    Cologne-Aachen, Munich-Augsburg, heck, Hamburg-Lübeck even

I find it hard to play some routes knowing there's no Fernverkehr. Even if they're only AI, runs would be so much more fun knowing you could potentially see all those trains.

Do simple train spottings or views of empty tracks constitute "Easter Eggs"? I've always thought that an Easter Egg in the context of TWS meant something unusual or surprising, such as animals, peculiar objects, etc. I don't see any of these in this thread.

Just to say - having been a bit negative - that I absolutely adore the easter eggs on this route, it's such attention to detail, and it makes the game so enjoyable and replayable. I just feel like there are other routes that could spark this sort of joy as well.

    Timetable is king!

SEHS is pretty much the only timetable in the whole game which has tons of surprising AI services hidden in it. I would say these are easter eggs because the developers (especially Joe) clearly hid them in the timetable hoping we’d find them.

A few other timetables with surprising AI services that come to mind are Bakerloo Line 2022 and Hamburg-Lübeck (both made by Joe as well). But the amount of hidden services in these is nowhere near SEHS.

Yet another reason it's my favourite route. You never know what you're going to find.

It’s so clear that this is the goal that all TSW routes should aspire to.
