I dont know if this is sarcasm or not given how it's written and the lack of grammar...

 

It's not TSW4. Changing the game each year is not viable regards to resource's. Every dlc would have to transfer again. Very little development would happen in improving the sim. Mostly likely will hear new route's including Just trains new route. There just calling it different jargon to sound better than it is. Wouldn't expect anymore info. Also the event may well have other titles from Dovetail.

 

True. It could have TSC news, tramsim news, euro fishing news and a bit of TSW news maybe even if its a new title for something who knows. Maybe a bus sim world or something. But yeah DTG direct doesn't equal only TSW which is something people seem to think.

And yeah - yearly paid updates are just not good in the long runs - TSW3 has what: Very few actually unique rolling stock and routes - I love the loco bundles (or atleast the UK parts) but there where very few releases compared to TSW2 and even TSW2020 so it seems impractical.

 

Or maybe some people haven't upgraded to gen 9 yet because they simply cannot afford too given the cost of living crisis, whatever the reason, people not upgrading to gen 9 yet doesn't in any way whatsoever mean that they aren't true gamers.

 

I still play both gen 8 and 9 - I play 9 for a few games including TSW3 but I still play a large amount on PS4.

Is this a reference to the recent stream where he called TrainSimulatorDriver The British Ace? but no I don't think so

 

Without wounding rude the UK route is just... no. London - Edinburgh is 393 miles- would probably take 2 years (average life span of a TSW game) to make. a part of the ECML sure, but not the entire thing.

I most certainly would! If we get this JT BR Blue route, the ECML and Peak Forest Diesels my signature will feel a bit empty! I have to say Peak forest Diesels and timetable revamp would make me a happy ducky!

 

All they'd be is a 700/1 (12 car variant) and it on the BML and it'd be clean...

Wow, "your not a true gamer" is the most self centered things I've seen on the forum. Not everyone has the money to speed £400+ on a new console. And a lot of people just don't care enough to upgrade. A true gamer is some who cares about playing games on what they've got not having the latest and greatest.

I might have the money but don't care about upgrading in the slightest, especially for one game.

 

I agree it’s probably time to let go of 8th Gen, but that has nothing to do with a persons hobby of gaming.

Someone who plays a lot of TSW1 is still a gamer, makes no difference with which console or which year they play it in.

gaming is about purely playing the games you own, nothing to do with whether you buy the latest game or fork out for the latest console or even the oldest classical console.

Didn't Matt mention that they didn't want to get rid of the 8 gen for TSW3? If this isn't tsw4 then maybe they won't move to UE5 just yet...?

They will stop supporting Gen 8 and move to UE5 as and when it suits them.

I agree, I can’t see the move being practically announced yet, maybe more sometime next year. I do definitely think they will do it with a TSW4 rather than some sort of new TSW3

 

This is absolutely excellent, man - you captured the true nature of Satire by even calling it "games" and people have still gone along with it! At the same time, maybe some useful speculation and opinions come out of it too. Tip of the hat to you!

 

My guess for this year's big news about TSW series: a huge as heck update for TSW3!

 

I was watching a video from TrainGuy4 on YT and he gives his predictions about the upcoming livestream and i was thinking further and he was talking about this picture that DTG shows on facebook:


This is for me an option to have the München Rosenheim route... This class 361 is riding on this route and for me it make sense to see this route in more than only the route it self....

You have already München Augsburg and Matt already say in a livestream earlier that M-AU needs to redone for the TSG 420 due to many problems in the actual timetable... So in short way i think they create M-RO as a extension for M-AU.... Why? Now then you have the better version of it for M-AU and you have the main tunnel to the east of the route and East Station..... So what do you think? Is this a good point or do i search to far?

I can see this route happening. I have played in the workshop version onTSC and it would be a versy busy route. losts of traffic.

I think MAG really needs an upgrade, don't care if it's a route extension or just (massive) bugfixes and timetable updates (begging for including the ICE 1 at some point), it has to be awesome, definetly

 

Yes his fact checking doesn't seem to be very well done at all. You are more likely to get more accurate info on here.

 

I guess once you throw enough stuff to a wall you will have eventually have some that will stick. But with the eventual arrival of the 420 this is something that I can see happening in the future

 

That's not the opion of TrainGuy but my opion... So youre comment is thinking in a wrong way...... The only thing that he is giving is that picture.... The rest of the video was not enough to beleve....

 

München Augsburg is a very nice route with less trains and good quality DLC stuff... And how cool it good be to have the Stamstrecke under the main station? It was by release the most asking things the stamstrecke/mainline to the eastside

I would 100% welcome this, but I feel like Antelope Valley Line would be the weirdest line to start with to bring Metrolink into the game. What do you think?

Yea but not the Antelope Valley Line. I think that line has 12 roundtrips a day and that’s it. Doesn’t make sense unless is a freight route and passenger service would be secondary

 

That's my point. If they wanted to break into LA and Metrolink, why not the San Bernardino Line? One of those stations is already done and it gets you closer to the southern Pacific Surfliner line to San Diego, plus BNSF could sub in which would have tenfold the services as UP on Antelope Valley Line. Antelope Valley Line is unique and some cool areas and gradients, but it doesn't further Matt's point of making deeper buckets (or however it was phrased). The line has expanded since the years when I used to live out there and last time I went through, I know they were constructing at least one new station cause of the massive population explosion in the area. The only further expansion you get from AVL is that it gets you closer to Tehachapi but the gap between Lancaster and Mojave is long and straight and boring.

I welcome anything that would bring us to LA though because the possibilities there are so awesome. It would be great to have another major metropolitan area besides New York in the game.
