Red Db Br 628 On The Dovetail Direct

I've seen that there is a red DB BR 628 (From Niddertalbahn) in the loco selection menu during the livestream. Is it new ? It don't seem that it's just a reskin since there's a mention "VR" next to it.

 

I think that layers onto linke rheinstrecke, and the skin comes with that?

 

It's strange because it's a completly "different" train. And I think that on Linke Rheinstrecke the livery stay the same.

 

That does look new, I don’t think theirs a red version in the TSG Route

 

Could the VR stand for Vorarlberg? Perhaps layers in on the German portion of the route, though I don't know what it would run.

 

Maybe it’s being used for one of the German routes on the roadmap?

 

Seems like a little leak then, I did myself watch that part carefully just in case they showed a train not announced in it. Perfect place for a mistake

 

I doubt since the 628 is on retirement since 2005 and the Vectron that is used on the route is much more recent (2007).

"Free update", as in having to buy TSW4 for it, I assume? Or is it coming to TSW3 as well, considering a Niddertalbahn update was promised for TSW3 previously?
