I was very surprised with the whole thing. Presentation wise it was way more than I expected. There has gone a lot of work in this. Felt way better than the TSW3 announcement. Marketing did a great job. I hope the developers are following this trend as well but that we will see on launch day.
I liked it prerecorded for what it was. It felt polished but for a preview or roadmap stream I like the interactive nature of the live streams
The TSW3 felt really disappointing because it was overhyped because, well, there wasn't much going for it. There wasn't anything particularly bad with TSW3's release but in hindsight it feels a bit shallow - especially compared to TSW4, which has me like a wee kid in a candy shop! I've just found out Formation/Consist Editor is coming, the list of new features has my jaw dropped. The clear and polished presentation really helped, that, though, and so I also tip my hat to Dovetail for that.
When tsw3 was announced i was like this is cool but I don’t want to lose my progress or content. They added that right before launch. I didn’t want to lose the save game they added it shortly after. I see this as buying any new route for my collection. Problem is the other 283 gig I have to download again
Loved the production on this. Thought the musical piece in the beginning was brilliant. Only thing I would have done differently was the announcement itself. After the music had finished, I would have had a close-up of the conductor closing his sheet music and the cover page would have the TSW4 logo on it
It was brilliant! I was absolutely giddy when I saw the azuma! My friend who I was on the phone to probably thought I'd gone crazy! XD I'm really excited for this! Well done dtg!
I'll ask her to sharpen her claws! In all seriousness, thanks for the lovely feedback. A lot of time and effort went into that, and kudos to our wonderful Creative team who had to put up with a lot of (mostly my) feedback and deliver something we're proud of.
Your timing was perfect. I even wondered how many times you rehearsed or redid the shots looking directly into the camera on cue
I really enjoyed the new format, the music intro at the start was a nice touch, and the whole format felt really refreshing and engaging.. i'd definitely be happy to see more content similar to yesterday's announcements for sure!
Yes you could see a lot of time and effort was put into the production, nicely formated and still managed to keep an openness. Really enjoyed it!
It was a full day of recording, and the stools we were sitting on were not comfortable . By the time we got to the FAQs section, I was a gibbering wreck to be honest. Glad you enjoyed it!
I did think that tbh. In fact in some shots it almost looked like you guys were floating cause the stools were so minimalistic!
If JD randomly disappears I think we will have to assume he has gone to Hollywood with that performance yesterday. That was my first thought when I saw them, they looked horrible!
