a) place Rush Hour passengers on BML and subsequent routes
b) install missing banking com function on Clinchfield F7
c) release the " huge " updates to SFJ and Oakville

You can potentially transfer the 3d models. Tl;dr A train in TSC just tries to apply the acceleration and braking final values to the model trying to somewhat make it feel close the RL thing, and plays sounds when appropriate.

A train in TSW simulates every individual component of the train and then applies the resultant forces to the model. Its much more complicated and totally different to what is done in TSC. This means you really cant port the scripting from a TSC train to TSW.

 

Will there be any Canadian freight routes added, like Canadian Pacific going through the Rocky Mountains?

 

I would welcome that kind of route too, but you need to post this in the suggestions forum and read the format for writing a good one.

 

Are there any plans to fully support keyboards on consoles? I know keyboards work as I use a wireless keyboard on my ps5 but it would be good to re assign keys like on PC's.

 

Will there be other passenger services added with a DLC on the Vorarlbergroute? Like REX, RJX, IC

 

Does the upgraded Dresden Reise route come with the Deluxe edition even if you don’t own the original DLC.

 

Will the Class 801 Azumas be added as an AI Layer for Cathcart Circle Line & Edinburgh-Glasgow Routes? I know they stop at Glasgow Central & Edinburgh Stations in real life.

I fear that we will have to do old trophies.
The question is to DTG: Can you ensure (!) that trophies will unlock that way after profile transfer? We all know that it did not work well when moving from TSW2 to TSW3.
I agree to you, it‘d be better to leave old trophies from old DLC behind at this point so we have more space for new stuff. To only get three trophies each route on TSW3 was a bit disappointing.

 

1) Will the current AI PIS bug from TSW3 be fixed for TSW4? (AI trains not having active PIS screens)
2) Will there be any steam physics or firing improvements made to the Flying Scotsman?
3) Is full manual firing still a planned future improvement? If so whats its progress/plan?
4) FS Can you go into the corridor tender to get to the coaches?
5) How much of an FPS impact does volumetric fog have? and does this replace the current fog wether setting?
6) Do the new Character Diaramas have animations/can you show this off!
7) You updated the screen rain particles, could there not have also been improvements to the actual outside rain itself also?

 

Question regarding db 182 dispolock, sifa still is broken no light for it, also, I don’t know if it’s prototipycal, but brakes release time compared to the other two db 182 takes a while to release. Any chance to fix this?

 

How will Assets work in the new editor? Can existing routes be modified and/or extended? Can existing trains modified? Many things to talk about.

 

Will all the Addons which are not working properly in TSW3 now at least work in TSW4?

PS: Made a mistake before and posted here the Riesa-Dresden route was part of the Special Edition. It is not. It comes with the Deluxe Edition. The other 2 Rush Hour routes (SEHSx and Boston-Providence) are in the Special Edition.

 

Will the class 91 sets and or class 55 be coming to the ECML via add ons?

Little thing: I won't be buying the Flying Scotsman since I'm not interested in driving steam, but it would still be cool to see it go by as an AI train. Will this be possible, or do you need to purchase it to have it exist on the route in any capacity?

Is there any chance the multitude of bugs that plague various existing routes on tsw 3 AND 2 will get fixed before support is dropped?

Is there any guarantee that the new game will not create bugs in already existing content just the same as the last game did?

Is the sehs scenery update locked behind a paywall, so those that bought the class 700 won't get the proper stop markers without upgrading to the new game.

Is there a guarantee that all scoring will be sorted with the 'new and improved' scoring system, whereby it is possible to obtain the highest medal for all services?

One of the new features is volumetric fog, does this fix the issue with it constantly being foggy on dynamic weather? Also is this putting a needed fix behind a paywall?

Why were we lied to at the start of summer when there wasn't much on the road map, being told that the team were taking a break from creating content to rectify existing issues?

If/when tsw 5 comes out this time next year, are we expecting any bugs in future content to never be fixed just the same as the last 2 games?

Edit- another question. After hearing about sehs scenery improvements in tsw 4, does that mean people who bought the 700 won't have correct stop markers without upgrading to tsw 4? Absolute joke if that's the case, not to mention all the issues still with the 700

 

What do freight layers look like on Antelope Valley Line? Are they correctly Union Pacific and not BNSF like in the preview? Are they drivable? Is UP LATC included as it is a stones throw from LA Union Station?

 

Will there be any changes/work done to passengers? As still on nearly all services you depart a busy station with nobody onboard, passengers stand on platforms everywhere but do not get on?

 

According to the FAQ it is indeed part of the Deluxe edition.

Sorry, just checked the FAQ and noticed that I made a mistake and Nahverkehr Dresden is in fact part of the Deluxe Edition. So yes, you can play it by buying the Deluxe Edition even if you did not buy the route previously as part of Rush Hour or standalone.

If you already own Nahverkehr Dresden on the same platform and account as you intend to purchase Train Sim World 4 on, then you will be able to download the upgraded version for Train Sim World 4 at no additional cost.

No worries, it’s fine. You’ve helped with a few things recently, so I’m glad of your advice.

 

That means that if you bought Nahverkehr-Dresden previously, you will get it upgraded even if you buy the Standard Edition or any of the Region Bundles of TSW4 (US bundle, UK bundle, etc). Buying any edition of TSW4 will upgrade Nahverker-Dresden in the same way that buying any version of TSW3 upgraded SEHS to SEHSx if you had purchased SEHS previously.

Will there be playable freight services for Antelope Valley Line?

If yes UP or BNSF?

 

Will there be freight action at the Aachen area and at the Stolberg Freight yard after the SKA timetable update.

 

I'm still waiting for whistleboards on eastbound passing Hoo Junction. And 100% TMS announcments on Scotrail Express.

Will we have more of voice passenger annoncements? Scotrail was a good start.

 

Are there plans for playable freight services at Boston Sprinter like at New York - Trenton?

 

Which safety systems the EMD 125 will have?

 

Are there plans for bringing the Flying Scotsman to the scottish route Scottish Express.

 

And while we're at it, will the Cab 2 LZB be fixed? And the ridiculously overbright instrument lights?

 

Now that there will be scoring for using safety systems will there also be training on how to set them up correctly on each train?

Also will the new scoring apply to old routes or just new ones? The reason I ask is I can't imagine ever being on time on Cathcart Circle without judicious use of the emergency brake.

Question: I think I heard Matt saying nothing was changed to the UI. Nothing means really nothing? Not even the confusing selected grey area that I still not have gotten used too? Was that poor design decision not addressed? How much time does it take to address this? It seems so minor

 

Question on a resent video stream I saw that the Glossop and Niddertalbahn also on the TSW4 showing. Are those two routes also has the TSW4 upgrades?

 

What are the plans for TSW2 and especially the preserved routes like GWE? Do TSW2 get the TSW4 upgrades?

I love steam (early steam) but little interest in the way DTG have done steam but I'd loved to know why the Mallard wasn't chosen as to me it is more iconic and set the speed record.

With these apparent yearly updates (some might say money grab) is it true TSW will be renamed EA-TSW and loot boxes will be now common place?

 

Probably because it's the 100th anniversary of The Flying Scotsman, which if not significant to you will at least help in marketing the game. The Mallard should be in TSW19.
