The Rain

It gives us something to talk about.. it's at the verbal non verbal verbal stage of communication now. It's that nuanced. You can tell a lot about someone by the way they talk about the weather

 

There is a Scot, an Irish and two Brazilians that lived many years in Ireland in the department where I work.
They are all great souls, but the weather talk is very colorful.

 

The improvement is enormous, but unfortunately pre-TSW4 locos and driving cabs will not benefit.

 

Can't see how it's enormous. It's not a massive change. The rain in tsw 3 wasn't bad in my view

 

To my eyes there’s a vast difference, even Matt called it Minecraft rain lol.

 

The textures are improved but to me I never thought the tsw 3 rain was terrible or bad hence I don't really see how it's a big change

 

Genuinely cant see the problem. Not seeking an argument but theres bigger fish to fry on the graphical front imho. Stutters, popping and washed out colours spring to mind. Im not going to complain because any improvement is welcome but neither am I going to get TSW4 for the 'improved' raindrops on the windscreen when I can't see any difference without deliberately scrutinising that aspect.

 

It was straight out from TSC. And that's not exaggeration, it used to be exactly the same effect as in TSC.

 

There will be a better rain mod short after release I guess. Like it's always been. But you can now tilt angles while taking a screenshot of that
