So i've been taking a bit of a TSW hiatus recently and I was scrolling through the TSC forums and found a really intresting systematic Unoffical more relaxed Screenshot Competition. While there are no proper prizes - Its based on a ranking system rather than just first and nothing else. And this would also allow use of CC liveries and 3rd party mods. To explain roughly how it works: If you get first you get to create the next theme and competition and can be the judge of the screenshots. To sum it up its mostly just a light harted fun based screenshot competition to derive from the competitive DTG on. Anyone intrested?

Yeah that was my fault - with CC banned from offical competitions it makes screenshots start getting a little repetetive to some extent. Especially given its usually the newer routes that win by default.
Yea, which is why I would love an unofficial screenshot of the month, along with a railfan capture, where you can essentially capture and upload your trainspotting clips from TSW
I had that idea actually and was thinking of doing something similar to the TSC Unofficial Screenshot Contest and for me to run it starting next year but I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this whether it should go ahead or not?
Ahhh..... sorry for stealing your idea (albeit we're both already stealing the ideas of I belive Blazin was the one who started it) but hey, unlike the DTG one it dosen't particulary mattter who starts it given it constantly rotates with who hosts it weekly is't it. But yeah its a really good idea.
Does these forums allow loads of choices for polls? Because a jury based system would certainly work better than a judge system its just a judge system allows for helpful critique and dosen't force the poor hoster to constantly update the thread. But yeah a poll could easily work better.
Well I didn't write the idea up did I? So technically you came up with the idea but I was thinking about it behind-the-scenes way prior to this being created but who cares? Totally agree, the winner hosts the new week as well so I'll host Week 1 and Week 1's winner will host Week 2 etc.
To be in line with when DTG's official one starts However, if anyone else wants it to start as of today, then I'll go ahead and start it up or maybe you can if you'd like?
... I mean you said next year so I was confused thats all. The unnofically TSC one takes place Wednsday-Wednsday so I think having diffrent dates is fine and gives waiting a few days to focus on each works,
That's alright, to be fair it can be started anytime but I suggested next year to run in line with the official ones from DTG, that's all
I know this is necroposting. And I don't care that its necroposting. But with the announcement of TSW4 it'd probably be a good time to do it when the first TSW4 competitions begin.
I had seen this topic before but I never found TSW3 (or before) to be equipped of making nice looking images on consoles. If I post a screenshot I'm aiming for at least a 1000 likes
