I wish you all a nice Day. A DB BR 182 for Dresden-Riesa, how stupid is that Guy you're probably thinking right now but please let me explain. This Suggestion has only one purpose, to finally uninstall RapidTransit, which many People now consider to be one of the worst DLC in TSW History. This "New" BR 182 would Layer exactly like the Old one from Rapid Transit, everywhere for Freight and in Hamburg-Lübeck for Passenger services. That we don't just Buy the same Train again, I suggest adding the special VVO livery. As far as I know, this Livery was unique in its Time. So this Livery would behave exactly like the Railbow Javelin or the ASC64 with it's TSW2 Livery. I think such a DLC would be best suited for a Loco Bundle. Why doesn't DTG Update the old routes to TSW 3/4 standards? RT, RRO, MSB, HRR and RSN would look great with a new timetable and new updated scenery, honestly don't know, why Riesa-Dresden needed an update, if they still didn't add Airport Branch nor Riesa-Leipzig, but I definitely agree on the Br182 update
Simple Reason: Money. I don't think an Tod4 Upgrade alone will boost Sales enough to make it worthwhile. I think Dresden-Riesa only got this Upgrade because TSW4 needs a German Route.
I agree with you and furthermore it can be substituted by Vorarlberg Bahn ÖBB Baureihe 1016/1116 DB CD ÖBB Elbtalbahn ÖBB Baureihe 1216. Freeing up the MRCE and Dispolok 182s to do freight on this route. For this locomotive it should be based on the newer Austrian versions 1016/1116 if made instead of what we have now cloning RT 182s to spawn off version. I'm afraid that the developers will simply keep cloning Rapid Transit 182 to make 1016/1116 including Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe 182. When it comes for the Austrian route Three Country Corner route Vorarlberg Railway it should do Wiesel Doppelstockwagen runs
Because it's complex. Every single asset needs to be updated to work with the new lighting. Each of the lighting source values requires to be manually updated. Also any light baking issues need to be sorted out. If dtg did it for every single route dlc in tsw, it would probably take years
For us? Sure. For DTG? Unless they are extending a route, or making a new DLC for a route, unlikely. As much as I would love them to bring every route up to TSW3/4 standards, it's just not economical for them.
Good idea I think they can go even further and give it a real traction audio. After all, this one is just as popular as an vectron, back in Train Simulator you had the ÖBB 1116 : really one of the most realistic version of any BR 182 locomotive released especially in sound's . Below a video which changes can make it even better. Pictures Sourse: https://www.loks-auf-den-gleisen.de/eurosprinter.html[/QUOTE]
