Should be DB Regio. RMV orders it.

It is set in 2023 and we are missing the matching stock Stadler GTW. For ÖBB Scotty it also has a unique feature you can use it to show Hauptstrecke München Augsburg services too. It turns out most of the Salzburg services to Germany actually run there basically overtaking the existing 146.2 425s on HMA

that’s right. In Germany it’s organised like that:
Timetables for regional trains are made by e.g. the RMV, which is a compound. Then the RMV says “we want the trains to have this and that (e.g. the wagons should have a certain standard)” and then they make a contest where every operator that would like to drive on this network can write them in. Then, when the contest is over, the winner is allowed to drive their trains on this network.
Therefore the operator is DB but the compound is the RMV
(I hope you were able to understand what I mean XD)

The route isn't set in 2023. Nowadays Lindau Hbf is called Lindau Insel and has more electrified tracks. The next station, Lindau-Reutin, has now been upgraded and most long distance trains now stop here without needing to reverse on the island. The screenshots don't show these changes, so that suggests it's about 3-5 years ago.

Thanks and in 2020 they have the electrified München Pasing Lindau electrification project completed during Covid-19 era. Which meant 3G FFP-2 rules in effect

It's not all that different from the UK franchise system, the difference being that the winner isn't chosen by the German Transport Ministry, but by the regional transit unions. DB Regio, since 1999, is just one TOC bidding for contracts in competition with Abellio, Netinera, Veolia etc.

This was quite intentional, and specifically done so as to keep the old island terminus. Thus spake Matt.

If this route looks like anything like the JT three country corner route( which by the way is on sale on steam) this will be a great route. Aster NYT this is the route I'M mostly lokking forward to.

It's a shame they didn't extend the few miles to St. Margrethen, which would mean a three country route, and would mean that the EC Munich - Zurich trains could be run in part (when apt rolling stock is available). Wonder why they didn't.

It was stated that they would have loved to implement St. Margrethen but the effort would have been far to much for the little value because they would have needed Swiss signals, signs, tracks, wires, etc. just for about one kilometre; I guess in the same time they could have almost build the line to Buchs SG apart from the Swiss area.
Yes, it’s really a shame it’s not included, but I understand that it just wouldn’t make sense for a company- the only opportunity would have been something like Meissen which was some kind of “love for the game” story if I recall correctly.
But the good thing is that DTG had more time for the parts that are in the game :)

Are we going to be able to use the Br101 and other German locos on this route. I just got the three country corner route from JT on TSC and in that route the BR101 is mainly use on that route. I think it was based on 2015. great route by the way stunning for an older TSC route. well I do have the AP weather.

If you look at the map the line to Buchs Kanton St Gallen runs through Lichtenstein from Feldkirch basically you have a four Country Corner route Germany Austria Switzerland Liechtenstein

I don't want to start a new topic because of this, so I'll follow up later.
There is only one freight train running to Lindau-Retin as part of the daily timetable service and the return locomotive to Wolfurt. It is there, or at that time there was, so little freight traffic?
