Can you get a list of previous DLCs that layer or substitute in this route?

 

I would be interested in learning which DLCs add which layers to the timetable.

 

Can you please have everything installed on whatever system you are showing that can layer and be use on the route.this way we can see everything available for the route.

 

In which Year is the route set? As it looks like the Station Lindau Reutin is missing.

 

According to the roadmap stream it's 2019 But yes they could confirm it.

 

Please bring a BR182 in OEBB Livery (1116) or at least let us use them with passenger trains.

Are there any loco DLC planned for this route? For REX or RJ maybe?

More info on the freight services would be cool. Are any lineside industries available? (e.g. the quarry in Dornbirn?)

Will Lindau, Feldkirch and Bludenz be as busy as in reality with AI services going into portals, like e.g. Hamburg in HHL with the updated timetable?

We had working ships in BRO - Will there be any ship traffic on Lake Constance? There should be a lot of ferries and boats in summer

 

I feel like a broken record saying this, but given the various issues with the console builds, I doubt they will use console footage to showcase this or any other route until they are resolved. I know they are always busy with ongoing projects, but they really need to improve things and stop treating console players like 2nd class citizens.

 

That's why I'm asking. I noticed we might move up the ranks to 1st class citizens. Getting footage of our platforms is part of being a 1st class citizen

 

Why this route and not another?
How likely would a Railjet-Loco DLC be?
Are there any "seasonal" layers?

 

Will Luzern to Sursee be required for the SBB RAB unit to sub in, or is this being included in the package?

I would also add, nice though the route and train appear to be, would be nice to have had some loco hauled passenger action too.

When you were working on keyboard control mapping was any consideration given to the mouse and its functions?

Two use cases:
- If I have a mouse with extra buttons it would be nice to be able to add functions to them beyond what is offered by default
- If I'm on console I'd like access to mouse functions (mainly Zoom) so I can map those to any key I like. This way I can use Classic controls without losing access to zoom in the process.

1. How many neutral sections are on the route?
2. Does this route use any unique safety systems or is it PZB throughout?
3. Do the suspension physics only apply to the WMR 323 (TC) or the NT 323 as well?

 

A good option would be for them to produce a list on store pages similar to JustTrains. Their list for their route is very useful.

 

These sounds seem almost entirely reused.

 

Those sounds are from the Talent 2, the 4024(Talent 1) sounds nothing like it, really hope they will change it before(or at least some time after) release.
They could've at least talked to RSSLO, but even their sounds aren't perfect(from TSC), still better than these reused ones...

 

The point is they aren't able to record sounds... so this is the final sound version

 

Obb didn't allow dtg to record a talent 1, so dtg had to use what they already had

 

I didn't say that they must record sounds, they could've just talked and made an agreement with RSSLO(just like they do with Armstrong Powerhouse for the UK trains)..

 

Not a great look, cloning another trains sounds for one of your brand new releases.

Pretty much. The sounds are being finalized and there's no plans to remake it. What you'll hear tomorrow is the sounds it is coming with, but expect it to be minor changes rather than a completely new soundset

 

The talent 1 (4024) does not sound like that.... They just copy everything from the DB BR 442

 

Another one: Is the car-train terminal at Feldkirch used in timetable mode in some form or another? Or is it at least accessible in free roam?

 

With the RABe 523 from Luzern-Sursee being included for Vorarlberg, is this train getting an update of any kind i.e. being suitable for PZB etc.

 

523 do not habe PZB. The 523 was just a place holder for IDK bcus there are no Swiss trains driving in real life

 

Well, fortunately ( I guess ), along with many others I imagine, I don't know what the Talent 1 sounds like, so I'll enjoy it in blissful ignorance.

Even if he couldn’t obtain pro level recordings did the sound engineer at least spend a day travelling on the units, gathering reference recordings (i.e. not to actually use) and committing the nuances to memory. Thus once back in the studio, with the samples which were available, he knew the effect to aim for?

This could be taken in isolation if it wasn’t for the fact it comes hot on the heels of the less than stellar audio on the Class 700, where DTG did have good sounds but something went awry with the mix and levels. Barely acknowledged and certainly not fixed.

Is UE4 and Simugraph holding back what can be done as regards sounds?

BRO stop if u don't know anything. DTG recorded no sound of the talent 1, they could have done that but there was some lazyness

 

Lazyness is a rather harsh accusation and I certainly stop short of that. And I have been following and posting in the other thread where more background on the situation is emerging. Nevertheless, given the strong feelings this has created and the dent in authenticity to the actual item, DTG ought to be coming up with an action plan to remedy the situation - even if just going back to the drawing board and using the 377/387 sounds as a basis instead.

It's just stupid, they got 2 weeks to record this American Loco nobody wanted, but an Austrian talent that many people wanted, got not even 1minute of recording, and the 377 Sound is not good at all. The horn is not like the original and it sounds a bit LOVE mixed (the LOVE is there bcus I sayd something wrong) but I meant shi*

 

Will the Austrian portion of the route feature the appropriate Austrian safety systems?
After all, DTG added the French systems for one French route so I would hope they do the same for the first Austrian route.

 

To my understanding PZB 90 is used in Austria as well so there's not a lot of new stuff here. Apparently 500Hz magnets are less frequently used than in Germany though.

 

Could you show us a detailed look as the service menu please so we can see the services from timetable mode? Same goes for all the other streams coming up too!

 

The new article says that there will be services with the MRCE 182 and IC couches on the route. Will these services work if you have any other variant of the 182 (DB or Dispolok) + DB BR 101 DLC?

 

What’s your source on that?
