Quite hard to make precise suggestions without seeing the game code. But there is no such thing as a perfectly optimized software, there is always room for improvements.

No effect at all. Doesn't matter what goes into the paintjob in LD, when it's imported into the game it's flattened into a single (fairly lo-res) bitmap (this is why you can't open or edit other people's liveries from CC - what you subscribed to is the "cooked" bitmap with all the editing elements stripped out). I'm running liveries with over 4000 layers and it makes no difference in game performance.

    One thing I would lose:

Medals when a service has been completed.

Once I have finished a service, I couldn't care less if I got a gold medal or not. I would much rather just carry on what I was doing.

Probably the same reason God of War isn't on Xbox.

Track shadows. They draw in so close that it's actually distracting imo

    Honestly?

I would eat humble pie and trade in my lifelong boycott of all DTG products for smooth stutter free performance on TSW. Simples!

Come on Focus Entertainment... Make it happen. Think of all those disgruntled ex-customers constantly spreading word of DTG's bad reputation. Imagine all those lovely juicy fat wallets that you may regain access to. You know it makes sense.

I wouldn’t trade in anything as performance is already great on my system. Get a consistent 90 fps on most routes.

Ryzen 3600 , 32GB of RAM and a 3080 Ti. I use a 1440p 144Hz monitor with variable refresh rate. The latter helps with syncing monitor Hz with game FPS so it always feels smooth, but I’ve checked during my latest run on Bremen - Oldenburg that I do actually get 90 FPS on the majority of the route.

Yeah, that's not happening on my 1440p freesync monitor paired with 5600X and 2080Ti FE..
