This thread is for everyone who didn't know that TSW4 on steam will not become early access. Maybe they Wil fix it. But I don't think so. Edit from DTG Alex: Early Access to Train Sim World 4 from September 21st will be available on Steam with the pre-order of Deluxe or Special edition. The store may display September 26th as the official release date, however, access should be granted earlier as expected.
what makes you say that? I cant see any official comms saying this has changed? If you are just going by the steam store page, then TSW3 was exactly the same. No mention of early access but then it just happened.
Early Access is happening for Steam for Deluxe and Special Editions. Can I ask what leads you to think that it's not?
I buyd the deluxe and it says that it will be 26. September, Idc who was lazy. Steam or dtg but it should be correct!

I think he's seeing it say release on Sep. 26th in the library (says it to me too) but I think that's just the actual release date but that early access will still happen to deluxe and special edition buyers. A question though, will we be able to port our DLCs and (PC) mods to TSW4 on Sep. 21st already or only on/after release on Sep. 26th?
Right. Will check if that's intentional, but yes 21st is Early Access. It's only content you've purchased through your package that will be available during Early Access. Compatible content will release on 26th with full launch.
Steam never shows the early release date, only the full game release. This is true for every game and nothing unusual. If you have the proper version of the game (note the base version doesn't get early release) it will unlock on the correct date.
