Route The Dartmoor Line (okehampton)

The addition of GWR’s Dartmoor line from Exeter to Okehampton could open up opportunities for expansion such as the Tarka Line to Barnstaple partially following the same route. Having recently small station of the year in the national rail awards I believe this could be a popular DLC. The line is 15.5 miles long making it an achievable length for creation. Maybe even using the livery used for the re opening of the line. In addition to this, the line could also host the freight trains from Meldon Viaduct.

 

Probably a little too short.

Add in the Barnstaple line will give more mileage.

 

And, while we’re about it, south to Exmouth on the Avocet Line.

 

Great idea! I’d really like to see all of this together!
