That's my opinion too, the 377 sound should be there and not the 442

 

if u play on PC Use the classic engine.ini settings they work 100% great not fix shutter 100% but does make the game run way better

 

Would probably depend on ap who owns the 377 sound and even that is not correct

 

I'm asking you to provide proof, if your going to make claims such as that, you need to provide proof to back it up.

Even in the event that obb are short on rolling stock, it's still highly possible that that isn't the reason for them not providing Dtg with an audio recording session.

Take the class 700 for example, during the day there are usually many of them standing idle inside Three Bridges depot yet Thameslink wouldn't provide Dtg with a live running recording session with them.

 

U think ÖBB has Depots? It's just open tracks..

Yea to Vorarlberg. The only state in Austria that has enough trains is Vienna. The rest is struggling

 

Every train is in a depot for a reason, even when it's something as simple as the train not being required in service at that moment in time.

Dtg don't need to get sound recordings from Vorarlberg specifically, they can go to any depot or railway that the operator allows them to, take the upcoming Flying Scotsman dlc, did they go to the Ecml to get sound recordings for that loco, no, they went to the East Lancs Railway.

 

You really think they have 100000 of the 4024? They could probably get the sound of an Desiro ML but that is the wrong vehicle.

No, I'm saying that they could record a train anywhere that the operator of said train allows them too and we already know that were able to get access to a 4024 for reference material, just that OBB couldn't provide them with a live running trip for whatever reason.

Guys, could we settle this in saying: this situation is not what we wished for, that we are more than upset and that the sound on the Talent 1 needs to be adressed?

 

Getting the data from ÖBB. Nothing special.

 

Even the vectron.. They are recording the sound on a Lokomotion Vectron and then we get a Railpool Vectron ☠️, boring livery

 

Pretty sure Dtg said that they visited an actual train, so no, not just getting data from OBB.

 

That's just your opinion, there are quite a few forum members who really like the Railpool livery.

 

But it is just boring, they will continue this probably now. The next cargo Loco will have the same livery

 

So what. I don't go around rubbing it into people's faces that I find a livery boring. What are you trying to accomplish here? You always seem to want to cause an argument with everything that's said. Plus just because dtg recorded off a locomotion vectron doesn't mean they have a license deal.

Regardless of where a train is stored when out of use, for DTG to get the sounds, it needs to be run on the main line, but strapped with mics and audio recorders. Most operators wouldn't permit such a thing happening on an in service train, and may be reluctant/ unable to book an ECS move to facilitate it.

That requires the signoff from the operator, network operations and so forth.

This isn't purely about Vorarlberg, it's about when and where Dtg can and cannot get there audio recordings from, something your consistently refusing to even try to understand.

 

You refuse to understand that there are no 4024 or 4023 that can be used for recording.. The 4024 and 4023 are getting replaced.... Not much of them are driving. And what u want in Vienna? DESIRO ML?
