Xbox Release Time For Deluxe And Special Edition.

Just wondering what is the release time for special and deluxe edition. The 21 is when it releases for both. Just wondering the time for release. Different time zone I may ask.

 

4pm UK BST (15:00 UTC for those who like that kind of thing).

but its thursday and it sucks, friday is better, then I can play it on like 15:30 depending on how long it takes to install (+ when I get home)

 

so when u pre ordered it should install it did for me its just sitting on my xbox home waiting for the 21st

 

Ha ha. Well what I’m gonna do is format my Xbox to the original state the day before it releases on the 21st since I preorder the deluxe edition. Just to kill time.

 

Well, I suppose we'll get the usual breathless posts from the kiddies on the 21st and 26th:

When's it coming in ( insert location)?
It's 5 o'clock and it hasn't shown up?
What's going on?
How come ( insert country ) already has it and we in ( insert country ) dont?
When does Steam/Epic open? Aren't they in New York or somewhere?
This is not fair!! ( Stamps foot, throws out toys etc ).

Well if anyone wants to know why late in the afternoon for the UK. It's because Both Microsoft (Seattle) and Sony (San Mateo) are in the Pacific time zone.

And it releases at 8am in the Pacific time zone. Just as their offices open.

 

More like 10 am PDT, I think.

 

Try 9 am it is -7 UTC. 4pm UTC - 7 houra equala 9am.

Sorry I thought it was -8 UTC. My Xbox shows 9am release time and I'm in Mountain time zone.

 

You were right first time as it releases 15:00 UTC (UK is 1 hour ahead of UTC for summer), which is 8am PDT.

 

I see the difference. I'm on Steam and it releases at 1700 UTC ( 1800 BST) which is 10am PDT. Microsoft and Sony are earlier, I guess.

i pre ordered the game yesterday in germany but the xbox only shows me only addons is there something went wrong?

 

1 hour to go (EDT) on the Deluxe Ed, but Steam's page still says just "available Setember 26"

 

This is probably the general release date, and early release would not be listed here.

 

I got the Deluxe Edition downloaded on Xbox but the core game icon and artwork on the home screen says Standard Edition. It would be better to have these artworks without this banner like TSW3.

 

I went onto steam 5 mins ago and saw the install button (on the TSW4 library page). It looks like its rolling out slightly early on steam.

 

Is it? I thought it was always scheduled for 17:00 UTC.

Still not showing as available to download on steam for me even though I pre ordered deluxe.

Go onto the TSW4 page in the library and see if you have a Blue Install button (where the pause button is on my screenshot). You may need to close steam and restart it.
