Hi there. I dunno how many YouTubers use this forum or if any livery wizzes check this but if possible could someone give me a guide on how to make the Transpennine Express logo (for private use only. Not cc) in the livery editor? If there's a video, that would be much appreciated, or if someone can give me something step by step even better. But I have been trying to get my head round the tpe logo for ages and it's not working for me. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
I'm not gonna lie this is a beautiful logo unfortunately I can't help you with that though because I have almost zero experience with the livery designer, Just wanted to look up the logo and post it here idk why
No bother. It's a very nice logo. Precisely why I wish to recreate it. Hopefully someone else can stop by with a helping hand.
The star is easy, just manipulate triangles (for the colours, open the logo file in Photoshop or the equivalent and use the eydropper to sample, then convert to HSV values) The lettering looks to be a modernised variant of Johnston; sadly, that isn't available in LD 1.0 but the default font is close enough that you can start with that and then add bits as required. The As and Ns with their pointi tops may have to be constructed from scratch.
Well you see that wasn’t hard. I have an advice for you, if you want the letters to same the size, duplicate the letters and replace it with any letter you want. This way it’ll looks clean.
Yup. I did do that and try to do that with my liveries. Doesn't quite work with tpe as there is extra bits added on to the N's and E's. Thanks anyway.
look at the entire metal box on wheels then look at the logo i mean come on well idk if they're also so small in the corner irl but couldn't it be a bit bigger at least
Just had a quick look, really like the Heathrow express one. (Don’t think I’ve ever been on the Off Topic section before). Love the photos and I love the Scottish routes but I just can’t get on with the 385’s view from the cab lol I play a lot of scenarios, do you create those as well or just liveries ?
Yea, I mostly create scenarios for my liveries. None of it is for cc though. These are all my personal stuff. I might start posting on there though when tsw4 comes out. Plus licencing reasons alot of them I can't post. Glad you like them though.
I was vey impressed with them. I’ll keep my eye on the other thread once TSW4 is out, in case you release something.
