This is in reply to the announcement posted by DTG Alex here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/tsw4-what-you-need-to-know.73473/

I've looked at the graph with the reduction in micro-stutters, and I notice that DTG is continuing with their very strong statistics on my [EDIT - JD - Language]. Here's my own graph showing DTG's track record of coming up with strong bull:

    [EDIT - JD - language]

You may recall the red light issues reduction of 80% announced by DTG JD in a roadmap earlier this year. Yeah, most issues are still there, only a handful have been reported fixed.

This stutter reduction bull is here represented as 75%, a mean of the two values in this article.

And for comparison, I included the perfect score of the TSW2 promised fixes, still waiting for the deployment window.

alright, but does it really tell us what we need to know about TSW4 or is it just telling us your opinion about how baaad DTG is and all that?

My graph has absolutely nothing to do with TSW4.
It only shows the quality of bull coming out of DTG spokespersons.

    OK, sorry.
I've changed the title and referred the post (which bears that title) with a link.

    Not a constructive thread. Locked.

For everyone's visibility, DTG-Chris ran the tests on the content, and these were the findings. It was more to illustrate the fact that - whilst you might experience a small amount of stutters on first playing TSW4, the caching of shaders you do on that first run will reduce when you play it again (we tracked 70-80% with his device, but might vary from person to person).

It's not perfect, but we do have to work within UE4 limitations on this one. We are looking at options to reduce it, but it'll likely mean longer loading times as we pre-cache shaders. Certainly not one that'll happen in the short-term.
