Hi, Just relaunched Steam trying to download TSW4, but I got a 139 Mb TSW3 patch instead. PS: Nothing wrong with it, just surprised I got this patch. Guess it will be the expected last batch of TSW3 fixes. PS: They added the Vectron to TSW3. Not sure if there are any other changes/bugfixes. TSW4 is downloading now.
Is it an actual patch, or just a redownload of files caused by something specific to your installation like a failed file verification?
I don't think it is a file verification because I played the game fine less than 1h ago. PS: Its a patch. I got the Vectron in TSW3 now.
The atch you should have got is a patch to correct something on the Antelope Valley Line and the sounds to the Flying Scotsman. It was rleased with the Jubilee sounds and not it's own sounds (which by the way sound absolutely immaculate - The Scotsman sounds, not the Jubilee, not that they are not immaculate anyway)
^ I can also confirm I have the Vectron on TSW 3. Was expecting TSW4 to auto download but couldn't see it (at 18:24) but then went onto the library page for the game and saw the shiny blue install button.
Just to confirm - this is a very, very old test build of the Vectron (when it was being built), so won't have a very good experience. (Think this was probably in a queue somewhere and accidentally got added to a build). Have raised it with the team.

What Route(s) is it on? Asking because I have all the German routes but don't have them all installed.
Home route is dra. But i'm not seeing it in tsw3. I also don't want to reinstall it to see if it's there or not

Also in TSW 4 in steam, the achieves are called TSW 3. There's a lot of conspiracy to come up with here, but I'll leave that for others to ponder.

Tried re-starting Steam and launching TSW3 to try to trigger any pending update. My Steam Downloads page is still empty (nothing pending).
Hello again, I've spoken to our teams and I've got an update to share, alongside a general summary: We believe this is affecting users on Steam who installed an update to TSW3 on the evening of September 21st. Anyone updating TSW3 since this time shouldn't be able to see the Vectron appearing. The Vectron shown here is an old, 'testing-only' version with very limited capabilities and isn't reflective of the Vectron in Train Sim World 4. We are currently looking into a solution in the near future to fix this for all users who can still see the Vectron appearing, however, in the meantime, there is a manual workaround to removing this beta version of the Vectron from your files (detailed below). Head to your Train Sim World 3 installation directory (This can differ depending on your installation location, however for most users, the default location should be in your installation drive, then 'Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Train Sim World 3' It is important you make sure you are in the Train Sim World 3 directory, otherwise, you risk removing the Vectron from your train Sim World 4 game and may need to re-install it. Follow the file path 'TS2Prototype -> Content -> DLC'. Within this, you should see a "TS2Prototype-WindowsNoEditor-RPVectron.pak" file. Deleting this file should remove the Vectron from appearing in Train Sim World 3. As we've mentioned, this isn't intentional and we are looking to remove it for all players regardless of this manual procedure, but if you are like Thorgred above and interested in keeping it around until that time comes, then enjoy - Thank you
