Good morning! Some of the DLC are missing in my library, so I can't implement them in TSW 4. This is annoying, because on the new routes with it only the supplied rolling stock can be used. For example, I am missing Hamburg-Lübeck, Cajon Pass, Sherman Hill, Kassel-Würzburg, so quite mixed DLC from different countries and editions (TSW 2 and 3). Instead, some add-ons called "SmithfiledXY" show up in the TSW 4 media library, can someone explain what that is??? I still have TSW 3 installed in parallel with all the DLC working fine.
Smithfield is the code for a TSW4 addon and Preserved collection content (TSW compatible content) (Things from TSW3 or earlier) will arrive on official launch day on Tuesday
Hey there, during Early Access only the TSW 4 Add-Ons are available. Your Compatible Content will be available from launch day (26th September). All the best, Jan
OK, thank you so much for your fast replies!! Then I guess I have to be patient for a few more days;-) That a few DLC are already available within TSW 4 library (eg Niddertalbahn or Peninsula) is then an accident? ;-P Best regards
It's probably those routes that you didn't buy separately, but as part of some kind of bundle (TSW2, Rush Hour Summer Pass, TSW3), right? Some other DLCs are pseudonymed "SmithfieldXX". Contrary to what dtg_jan wrote above, EGS already allows installing and playing DLCs that have been released before TSW4. DTG JD promised me that this issue is being investigated: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/game-crash-on-startup.73551/#post-718034
